It seemed to go okay, but I haven't heard anything yet. The friend that I went with was already freaking out the next day because we haven't heard back yet, and I'm like "Dude, it's been a day, give them some time".

Hope you hear back soon.

Good luck. The waiting is always frustrating

DS got sick when he went to his Mom's. Fine when he left, and fine a day later when being back with me. I don't why this happend all the time, but it does. I'm glad he's better. Too bad your not. Often when I get a cough it's a two or three week thing.
Weird. Hope DS stays well...

I've managed to avoid a cough for a quite a while. Don't mind having a cold. But a cough is always a lingering annoying thing :(

I think that is what happens to me. Infrequent but intense when it happens.

Good Night everyone. I'm cashing my chips in.

I understand it did make sense to have lunch instead of dinner for Connor's birthday meal or it would have been extra money. Those set prices for the WoC meals are good cause you can get the best dish on the menu. It's been awhile since I have ate at WCT at DCA. So I am looking forward to eating there.

I also knew that no one from either side of the family would get to DCA early enough to get fastpasses for WoC. Do I know our families or what? Most had never seen it, because they are not the best planners. We treated Becky to a WoC dinner at Ariel's Grotto the month it opened. She may be the only other person who had seen it before to my knowledge. My sister went last summer, but I doubt she was organized enough to actually watch the show. Becky said that when she went with Sarah (after she went with us) they did not watch it because they did not get there in time for fastpasses or book a meal package.

It would be nice to have dinner without paying extra for the WoC meals.

Tonight I was going to make steak on the grill, but it turned into cheese steaks made in a skillet when it started raining.

It was raining so hard (and loudly) here that Crap heard it through his game headphones and called it hail. I was not going outside to verify, so I took his word for it.

We had a heavy thunderstorm and hail yesterday, and then a brief thunderstorm today. It's calm right now.

We got ours today.

Still got a persistent cough which keeps me up a bit but otherwise ok.

I hope you feel better soon. It seems like this sickness has been lingering too long.

It's quiet today.

You must know your family pretty well Kim if you predicted well in advance that your family members would not be at DCA that morning to get showpass (what Matt would say instead of FP) for WoC. It was a nice treat for most of your family members to see WoC during Connor's birthday. Good thing for the DISer boards that helps us plan our trips and get the most out of it. That is neat that you did the AG WoC dinner in the summer of 2010. It was a nice experience at AG for the WoC dinner on opening week. So much has changed these last two years with no more AG for WoC dining.

The extra money does makes a big difference when you have a big group.

All this talk about lunch/dinner reminds me I need to think about that stuff for Sept. Hmm do I need to do a package for WOC or just get FPs? Decisions decisions.

If you haven't done the WoC dining, I would go with the dining. It only depends on what time you want to see WoC and what section. You still have a couple of months to decide.

We only seen WOC a few times, once for the Verizon WOC party, the other time was with someone in the wheelchair section (great view). All the other times were from our balcony at VGC.

I was just looking at the Carthay Circle Theate dining package for WOC, that might kill to birds with one stone. I'm not sure I'll be up to the late show so close after surgery.

I think the CCT packages are currently the best option. You get to pick what you want for each part of the meal and get the best food in the park at reasonable rates. If you have some big eater WCT with it's shared apps and dessert may be the better option, you can request refills on those parts of the meals. In summary you are paying for the food and not the tickets, so decide on the menu and ambiance.

What I enjoyed once at DHS is thier Fantasmic Dinner Package. You could go to one of three restaruants and use the dining plan if you wanted. Buffet, which I had and enjoyed a lot, good food, good choice and a great waiter. Italian which was simple for the kids or a little better for adults but all in all standard table service. Or a Signature meal. It was nice that it covered the array of Table Service tiers.

The high and low was that you could show up later to the F! viewing area but didn't get to sit in the middle or the arena.

How's your morning so far Matt?

Nice tips Matt on the WoC dining package for Angela. I am planning on eating at CCR when I go back to November. I really wanted to eat at the CCR for my upcoming trip, but I'll just wait until November.

Thanks for all the tips Matt. I made a reservation for CCR for 5:30PM on our second night. This way we can have a nice dinner and not have to line up way early for the show.

Nice to hear that you will be eating at the CCR during your trip. :thumbsup2

How's your morning so far Matt?

Morning, it's mid afternoon. I've go DS outside playing which has allowed me to watch all my DVRed shows. In a while we will go for a bike ride or maybe pass a soccer ball.
