I watched a lot of it when I was waking up-in the morning , ans when I came back from work . And a lot during the weeken: The live coverage by the CBC was very good.
The closing ceremonies yesterday were amazing and made me very proud since most of the people who organized it were from Montréa l ! I watched them live a 2PM ( While NBC was showing one of thousands basketball games !) When I tried to watch the NBC coverage at night , it started with a 20 minute piece about, not the olympic spirit , not the achievent of atlhtes , not a recap of how the american did , but a story ( that could have been fascinating during a 20/20 type show) about how an african-american participated in the liberation of Italy durin WW2. So once again , the Turino Games were not about the games , or the city Of Turino , but about the USA again !
