I have heard tips from several green car-quest winners but you never know when somebody has extra advice for you that you haven't heard before ~C.B. p.s. Here's for keeping the thread on topic --- Yay!! Well, hmm...aside from all the other tips I have given, I think slowing up really does make a difference in making sure you hit flawless more often. Another thing I do, is since I know the order of the fireworks pretty much, I immediately switch to the next image just as soon as I have clicked another. I also take every opportunity to click 2 fireworks together so I can get both flawless, instead of one awesome and one flawless. If I see during a round that 2 are going to be close together, I click a third one first, then run over to click those when they turn to stars. Takes a bit of practice (which is why I am not always consistent), but it helps bring up my score. I also wear an ace bandage around my wrist -- it keeps my hand from sticking to my mouse, so I can easily click from one side of the screen to the other (it also keep wrist pain away). Oh, one more thing...if you think you have missed one of the fireworks, click there anyway. Sometimes it explodes. And I have found that if my click is not exactly on target, I can drag my pointer over to the fireworks before my finger has let up on the left mouse button, and it usually explodes.

Awww...been there, still do that LOL. But I'll tell you one thing. I almost never quit a game until after I reached 280,000 -- because even if it wasn't a great game, it was still a chance for practice. But you know...now that I have gotten such high scores...I always try for the best score. BUT..if I'm in a game with no one I know and I am doing anything less than 280,000, I will probably stop at 240,000. And...if I'm in a game with great players and I start off poorly, I may just quit -- depends on the moment. Sometimes I feel a bit strange making a lower score. Sometimes I'll get a top score and the next will be lower. So, I might either quit or keep going and stop early. I always look at my score to see how I'm doing. But if you want to stay in the game and the score is what's making you quit often...stick a piece of masking tape on your monitor. I've heard of other players concentrating too hard on the fireworks that they have no time to look at scores. Maybe this will help you too.

Thanks for the information Days. If you saw me in the fireworks lobby today, you know that its still not going so well for me, LoL. It took me 20 minutes just to get the second stage of level 1 without quitting, and I only managed to play one full game in the whole hour (which I had to sand bag in unfortunately).

Hmm.. Oh! Yay me, I managed to play one game of fireworks!

It will get better -- remember my 2 week rut? I thought my days of over 280,000 were over. Keep going...one day things will click for you. But they won't if you keep stopping.

Well, after months and months of watching others occasionally reach 47,000 at the end of level 1 in fireworks, I finally did it. Don't ask me how I did it, but I did lol. I wish I knew HOW! But I think I had an edge with this first click of 1,000. I NEVER got 1,000 on the first click! Yay me.

Did anyone else experience problems in fireworks tonight, or was it just me? (Most likely me lol.) Quite a few times I clicked and nothing happened...I lost many fireworks tonight. Just wondering...

Yay again! Yay again! Two new high scores for two stages... End of Level 4, stage 2: 194,392; and end of level 5, stage 2: 260,805. Game ended at 289,455 (so close to my high score). Arg...if only I didn't miss those 2 easy ones...

Yay, yay, yay! A new high score for me (289,862) and a couple of new end level high scores (end level 3 stage 3: 152,972; end level 4 stage 1: 173,485...

Yesterday brought more end level high scores for me! End level 4/3: 219,747; End level 5/1: 241,589; and End level 5/2: 261,924. I also tried to get on top ten as many times as I can. Silly, but I had fun trying. Managed to get there 7 times! lol
