Thanks for the explanation, Alex. When MSN said it was not able to find either DISBOARDS.COM or WDWINFO.COM, I started to get a little worried.

I am very confused. I got here by pasteing the 198.64.133.85 in where the words Disboards would go, but to change boards I have to re-paste every time. Plus there are several threads on RAPD asking what happened. So... is there something we can do to our PC's to make this work?

All I know is yesterday I couldn't Dis. Work was boring, boss was gone, and I couldn't Dis. Today, I can. Why, I don't know, but I didn't like yesterday. Thanks Alex for working so hard to get it up again. You have no idea how hard it was yesterday. I had to find another site to research WDW . But, rest assured, I did not like it as well as the Dis.

thanks for the explanation...and like many others...thanks for making my eyes glaze over

i was beginning to think that there was a conspiracy against me DISing!!! my DH could access the boards with no trouble, but i couldn't. everytime i'd try to access www.disboards.com, i would get a response that the page couldn't be found and it asked me if i meant www.dashboards.com :p all's i ca... i was going through some serious withdrawl!!

The re-pasting is the only way to get from one sub-forum to another. If you are on the "Just For Fun" heading, you should be able to use the breadcrumb trail at the top of the page to get to any of the forums within that sub-heading without re-pasting the IP address. If you change to another sub-heading, you will need to paste it again. Using the quick jump pull-down at the bottom of the page requires a re-paste too.

Thank goodness it is back up! I was going into DIS withdrawal yesterday and kept typing www.disboards.com over and over and over again. Kind of like when you know the power is out, but you keep walking into the room and flicking the lightswitch on anyway.

I still dont get it.

If I have a link to an area, I can then get around the "breadcrumbs".....but what about if I go to the main board and want to go to the DVC pages, etc. How do I know what number to put in.

Will this eventually fix itself, or will I have to keep doing this?

What are the numbers to put in your browser to get to wdwinfo site. I have the ones for the boards and dreams unlimited one more and I will be up and running again!
