We are owners too! Bought 60pts when VGF2 came available thinking that older DD and I would use it for girl weekends every other year or so. Added another 150 when the incentives made it an excellent deal to become a blue card owner. Unfortunately, DH and DS don’t appreciate GF as much as my daughters and I do so we tend to alternate between VGf, BLT and Copper Creek for our family trips. I do enjoy every dvc resort we stay at but VGF will always be my favorite. I love grounds, the rooms, the pools, the food options and the view of the castle from the marina. I absolutely love sitting in front of Gasparilla grill first thing in the morning watching the MK boats start running, the monorail moving and seeing happy families getting ready to start their Disney days.

Our upcoming stay in September will be our first trip as owners and we are so excited! We have been DVC for over 20 years and have stayed at the Grand before but will be proud Grand Floridian owners this time. Can’t wait!

It's so strange that they haven't begun the lobby renovations. The only explanation must be that there was a supply chain issue for the carpet and furnishings causing the delay. This is the perfect time of year to complete it - low crowds, no Christmas or Easter decor and lobby traffic to contend with...

Disappointing that it's been delayed this long.

I was just thinking the same thing! It feels like we're heading down the same exact path as last year - by the time they're ready to get started, it'll be too close to the holidays so they'll have to push it to next year again. But then wait until Easter is over because of the Grand Cottage...and the cycle can just keep repeating .

We will arrive around 1am, but I'm having some water and snacks delivered the night before. Will Bell Service be available to bring it up to our room at 1am. Or will I need to wait until later in the day?
