2004 - Stitch's Great Escape opens at MK. An opening ceremony featured Stitch teepeeing Cinderella Castle and an ultra rare, one-time-only character appearance by Cobra Bubbles!!!!!!!!!! (Gosh I wish they'd have him out more ) Here are some pics of the ceremony.

1928 - Need I remind anyone how important this day is?!?!?! "Stemboat Willie" is released, which means today is the birthday of Mickey, Minnie, and Pete!

2003 - In honor of Mickey's 75th bday, 75 celebrity-inspired statues of Mr. Mouse were unveiled in a ceremony at MK's front entrance featuring Michael Eisner, Dave Smith, Wayne Allwine & Russi Taylor (the voices of Mickey & Minnie), and MANY Disney characters. An interview w/Dave Smith was broadcast live from MK on Good Morning America.
