The Official: This Day in Disney History Thread!

( What is Disney Doing with that are they still opening it for like 2 weeks a year still?

The facility, but not its rides, are currently open as a "Festival Center" for the Food & Wine Festival. It's where wine presentations and such are held. I have no idea as to what its future plans are.

November 1
2003 - Brother Bear is released in theatres. (Trivia! This was released on a Saturday . . . weird, right? Disney didn't want to release it on Friday OCtober 31st, 2003 because they figured kids would rather trick or treat on Halloween than see a Disney movie  )

November 2
2001 - Monsters, Inc. is released in theatres :sulley:

November 3
2006 - The Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause is released in theatres

November 4
2005 - Chicken Little is released in theatres (I double-checked . . . turns out my Disney Days calendar was wrong about it's release date being Oct. 20 . . . I knew it ;) ). It is the first Disney film to use Disney Digital 3D. (This was later used on Meet the Robinsons and Nightmare Before Christmas.)

November 5
2004 - The Incredibles is released!!! (Although it's not one of my favorite Pixar films story-wise, I REALLY liked the characters, especially Edna, Frozone, and Jack Jack . . . I laughed so hard at the end during Jack Jack's showdown w/Syndrome:lmao: ). Speaking of Pixar, I'm really excited for this Tuesday's Ratatouille DVD release :hyper:
