Just a correction the reason the seas are rough the first night has nothing to do with going faster. The reason they are usally rougher the first night is beucase the ship is going trough the gulft stream. The gulf stream is off the coast of flordia and when going into the carribbean you are going against it. Some cruises though are worse then others for rough seas. One night we had 30 foot seas and 40 mph winds and the ship sure did sway a lot but i never got sick. You are just going love being a big resort at sea with all the good entertainment and fun you want!tinkdancer said:I have been on a cruise before, too.
Well, of course it is absolutely wonderful.
You won't get sick except on the first day because they go faster so that they can reach Key West as fast as they can the next day. Otherwise they have things on the side that keeps the ship stable. I kept on thinking I was in a really nice hotel, but when you looked out the window, there was ocean. It is soooo nice. ^-^
