Woohoo just bought tix off Unofficial Ticket center I saved $60,now I just have to wait for my Confirmation number they send me from Disney so I can add the tickets to MDE
I was reading how in Feb they normally increase price of the tickets so I figured I needed to go ahead and bite the bullet.
We normally book through disney as well this is the first time we rented points and I bought tix anywhere else but Disney but I couldnt pass up the savings, between the DVC rental and the park tix we saved almost $2k this yr! We normally book CL through Disney but booking a split stay so that we get to stay at both our favorite resorts is turning out cheaper then a stay at 1 of our deluxe resorts through Disney!I did the same the other night! In the past, we always booked a package through Disney, but since we rented DVC points this time I figured I'd buy our tix through Park Savers! They're already added to MDE and I can't WAIT to book ADRs! Out of curiosity, I priced a similar room and ticket package and we're saving over $1500! I guess I'll just have to put all that money toward all the food we'll eat @ F&W![]()
Doooooo itttttt! Unless I'm mistaken, it seems like Disney only runs free dining promotions without discounting room rates. In your case, it sounds like paying out of pocket for meals and getting a discounted room would be the better savings for you anyhow! So I've been thinking we would only go if we got free dining. However, I'm realizing that if I make a reservation now, it will be before the annual price increase which will save a few dollars, plus we won't have to buy hoppers, which would save $320. That would go pretty far to feeding us as we are not big eaters and will pack breakfast items as well as snacks, etc. I'm trying really hard to talk myself (and DH) into this! I would still try for free dining, but if I don't get it, perhaps it's not a deal breaker...

Yes Fall is a great time bc of the discounts whether its FD or RO... What Resort are you looking at staying at?
how do you rent DVD points? Do you have to be a DVC owner? I'm so lostI did the same the other night! You don’t have to be a DVC owner! You just need a DVC owner to make a reservation for you. There is a sub-forum dedicated to direct rentals from DVC owners here on the DISboards, or you can go through a reputable third-party broker. We used DVC rental store, but I know other folks here use David’s DVC rentals! It’s a much more affordable way to experience some of the deluxe resorts on property.how do you rent DVD points? Apparently stopped giving TA the advanced calendars from my understanding.. It sucks bc I want to plan around MNSSHPWe booked September 10-14!! at Beach Club Villas! Please put us on the list! Haven't been to WDW since Sept 2016. I'm trying to find the great calendar they used to have on Easy WDW. Seems it stopped in 2017. They also had the travel agent calendars on that site and a park by park monthly plan. Anyone know what happened?
