***The official September, 2016 Thread !!!***

No magical express stuff for us, hmmm. Been booked since the free dining promo came out. Maybe I should call?

Generally they don't show up until about 30 days before your trip and come seperate from your Magic Bands. Sometimes when you fill out the online form or call in they will ship them earlier but like I said generally its 30 days before.

September 25- October 1... A little busier than early September but hoping not too bad since it was the only week that worked with work schedules... First time staying at Pop... We normally stay at Coronado but thought our little ones would like Pop this time around... We will see

You will love POP, if you can see by my signature it's the only resort we've stayed at, lol. We love it that much, the only reason we aren't there this year is because FD was not available for our week.

For those that are worried about the crowd levels going up to a 4-6 from a 1-2 it really isn't that bad compared to the same crowd levels over holidays. Will it be busy, yes, but still manageable to get everything done that you want. :)

Yep they came in on Friday.

Yay! Joining the group!
We are going September 24th to October 2nd and staying in a pirate room at Caribbean Beach. DS's 6th birthday is on the 28th and our 10th wedding anniversary is on the 30th so we will have a lot to celebrate.
We are extra excited as we usually go every winter but this past January we went to Disneyland instead, needless to say we are all dying to get back "home" ❤️

The updated crowd levels talk has me a bit nervous. I was just there July 4 - 12 and was surprised at how NOT crowded it was! I'm wondering if we will see an increase in crowds moving forward? I hope not. :/

I am nervous about it as well. I am preparing for the worst so if it isn't as bad as I am imagining, then it will be a pleasant surprise.

You know what, that's a really good way to look at it! Hey, busy or not, we're still going to be in Disney! :)

We have been in June, Sept., Oct, Nov., Dec and Jan. By far Sept. was the lowest crowds. We have been to WDW 3 of the 4 weeks in Sept. with Labor Day week being the only one we haven't done. "Late" Sept. crowds are a little higher than the 2nd and 3rd weeks of Sept. but still very manageable. You may run into some 3/4 crowds when the crowd calendars say 1/2 crowd levels but even the 3/4 crowd levels in Sept aren't the same as 3/4 in June, Oct, Nov. or Dec.

I know that last sentence seems a little odd. Even with the "higher" crowd levels they are still low. This is one reason we plan most of our trips for the 3rd or 4th week in Sept. We know the crowds will be in our favor even when it is "busy".

For example: a 3/4 crowd level in Sept. there was a 45-60 minutes wait for Soarin. A 3/4 crowd level in Nov. the wait was over 90 minutes. Same crowd level but lower wait times. I'm not entirely sure how it works but that is what we have run into on a majority of our trips (almost all taken in Sept.).
