***The official September, 2016 Thread !!!***

HBouchard 9/20-24 right now staying at POR, but will change for free dining

Longtime lurker. Joining in.

We (DH, DS and maybe MIL) are going on September to celebrate DS 4th birthday (September 13).
We're waiting for the Free Dining to book everything online.
We also may spend 2 days a UO. Haven't decided yet.

Our last time @ WDW was on September 2014. Stayed at CBR and loved it. We may stay there again.

Can anyone point me in the direct of where the park hours for September can be found? I can't seem to find anything on the Disney site :(
Go to the top of the Disney website, hover over "Parks & Tickets", scroll to the right and click "More Hours". Then just scroll on the calendar to September. They have hours posted up to 9/12.

DH and I are going the 17th to 24th. I'm super excited it's oureally 3rd trip in year and a half. We are staying at POP and we got park hoppers for the first time. DH is obsessed with food and wine so we're hoping to go for more than one day during the week when it's not too busy since we only went on a Saturday last year

booked Aug 31-Sept 7, our first full trip to WDW. Just my daughter and I for her HS graduation gift. Can't wait!

This will be our 3rd year in a row going in Sept. We have booked bounce back offers for free dining each year.

Things just got real, because I booked our ADRs yesterday. We won't discuss how it was a cruel joke to have my 180 window open up the morning of DST. On a positive about it, though, it was the easiest time I've had booking ADRs. Not sure if most people didn't get up in time or what, but I got every ressie I wanted with great time slots.

When I made my ADRs last week Sunday, everything went smoothly. I just knew I had a general time of where I wanted to be every day and it all worked out fine and it was my first time doing ADRs. I guess September is just a lucky month. :)

It hasn't been the past couple of years. I've always had to stalk the system for months to get a BOG or one of the other hot commodities. This year I had several BOG times to choose from on what should be a MNSSHP night. We've always gone the 3rd week though. This year we bumped ours up to the 2nd full week of the month, because last year was crazy busy for a September. Fingers crossed it will be less crowded with a MNSSHP that isn't sold out.

Oh, I had no idea. Hm. Well, I guess Pixie Dust has been sprinkled this year! I noticed Cindy's Royal Table was open a lot and I was surprised because I had heard that that particular ADR was incredibly tough to snag. I kept seeing times though! In all of the time slots! But, I guess with the price hikes people just aren't about it this year.

Hi Guys - well I made my ADR's this weekend. No problems getting what i wanted except for BOG of course. However, we got it for lunch on our anniversary, so that's ok. Here are my plans:

9/6 - Check in and the Plaza Restaurant for dinner
9/7 - BOG for lunch - wedding anniversary
9/8 - Mama Melrose for dinner
9/9 - Rainforest Cafe for dinner
9/10 - Boma for dinner

I tried to go places I've never been before. I've been about 15 times to WDW and the wife has only been once. I did call yesterday and have them notate our account and all the reservations regarding our anniversary, so hopefully that will be a nice surprise for the wifey. Any thoughts?

I've only ever been to BOG, but this looks like a fun plan! I'm jealous of your Boma plans as we wanted to do that, but decided against it. Hope you have fun!

Thanks! I can't wait to get there. The only issue i'm having is that i like to go commando (no, not without the undies !) throughout the parks and the wife said that she would only go if we could "leisurely stroll through the parks".. Sigh. Oh well, fortunately, it's September, so it won't be too crowded. The crowd calendar for our stay is 1,1,1,2,3 out of 10. Not bad at all !!!

That's awesome!

Our crowd calendar sports at mainly 3's and 4's, but, from trip reports in the past, I'm suspecting more of 5's or 6's. Oh well.

But upon your return, please do let us know how Boma went!

See you at MK on 9/6 and 9/7! The Plaza and BOG lunch are really good! Are you doing the Rainforest Cafe at DTD or AK? Ive done the one at DTD and it was pretty good :)
