The Official September 2006 Thread...Who is Going and When

Hi, this is our first post. We are going Sept. 17-23 and staying at the Boardwalk Villas. Can't wait!! We've been married 7 years and this is our 3rd trip to Disney.



June/1999-Disneymoon @ Contemporary (my favorite)
June/2004-with whole family @ All Star Movie and Contemporary

We are booked for Sept 2nd through the 8th at the ASMo We are going to celebrate 5th birthday at the castle (lunch) and LTT (dinner) on the 7th
I am so excited!!! We have never stayed on property or ever gone to a character meal

So now I am busy buying princess dress (found a great deal on ebay for $17.50 a piece! and cheap accessories )

The only down side is that no one around here wants to hear about it not even DH! and my girls are really too young to understand (I will be teaching them though )

Added two more days earlier on the pretense I may have to work around air schedules(if SW ever opens up). We-DH-DS 7-DS-6 will be at Pop 15th-24th. We are DVC so I have never even seen Pop in person but does not stop my excitement. Dh really worried we will be cramped but he is only there for the first three days, then the boys & I get a Mommy & me vacation. Yahhhhhhh

Hi

Counting down the days until then, 9/22 for 8 nites at BCV Studio. Never stayed there before and really looking forward to it. We are indoctrinating our son, he has already been on dis cruise (at 5 months), DW (18 months) and making his second trip in Sept. I figure, start early. See you all there! Have a fun and safe summer. :

This will be my second trip to Disney but my DH's first. I am like the little guy in the commercial : "I'm too excited to sleep." or work, or concentrate on anything but Disney!!!!

We will be at POP Sept 7-12. Made all our ADRs yesterday and got everything we wanted within 10 minutes of the times we wanted.

We are still planning a December trip with Mom (she doesn't know!), sis and her DH. But this one was too good to pass up - did I mention free dining?!?!?

I don't know what the green mickey is all about, but count me in! See ya all in September!

Lime green Mickey heads!....if you go to The Home Depot to their paint department, there is a section with paint for Disney decor. The paint chip samples come one color per card, in the shape of Mickey! It's officially called Alien Green, but DISers commonly refer to it as lime green - if you pin one to a hat or backpack, it's a way of identifying yourself as a DIS board member to others who may be there with you!

Lisa--Thanks! I'm glad to be able to put the list together for everyone, so we all know who is going when, and who we will be vacationing at the same time!

I added the second set of dates next to the first set of dates! How great you get to go twice in September...I'm jealous!

The adventure starts on the 23rd as we are taking Amtrak from Raleigh, NC to Orlando overnight.

My wife and I haven't been there since 1994 on our Honeymoon, any suggestions as to what we should show the girls first at MK?
