Thanks for the post & the e-mail link. I had no idea they were taking away the "Living Statues". Just sent my letter. I do hope they will reconsider this. We happened across the Living statues on our last trip to Epcot & absolutely loved them. I could have watched them all day! That was going to be one of the "must see" things at Epcot on my trip this summer.

Just sent my email this morning. Thanks to the OP, I didn't know this had happened. Sure am glad we got to see her last year. She did a funny thing to DH. DH is 6'1" and about 215 so a big guy, he went up to pose by her for a photo and when I got ready to snap it she "pushed" him aside so she could be in the photo by herself. It was funny!

Just emailed....I'm really bummed. I was really looking forward to have my boys see her. I guess I waited too long for their first trip!

How dissappointing! We saw her in December while waiting for the Candlelight Processional late seating. My girls were too scared to go up for a photo op. When they finally had the courage, she (the statue) left. I told the girls we'll catch her next time. Just got back April 3. We didn't see the living statue, I told the girls we'll catch her at Thanksgiving. Who'd have thought I'd be lying to them. I'll e-mail my dissappointment!

That's really sad. The Living Statues and other street performers are the best thing about WDW! Otherwise, it's just another theme park, might as well go to US/IOA. I've got guests going with us for the first time this summer, and I've told them about these acts. I think my DD and/or DH has a picture with a Living Statue from every trip we've made, it's kind of our "growth chart" for DD.

Where is the choice of not being upset and glad they are changing the entertainment around? We stay onsite about 30 days a year. I am always happy when things are changing. While I might miss something I still look forward to experiencing the new stuff.
