Yes I agree, but hopefully since this involves only bringing back one person not undoing a whole ride overhaul, we can still persuade them!

Beaver Tales!

If I remember reading here there were several post saying Canada no longer sold the Beaver Tales, and now they do... OK so one is a food, that you pay for, and one isnt...

But if prices are raised, and Eisner is getting HIS money, and the powers that be would like to make cost cutting measures, I'm thinking they need to rethink what makes WDW a must do over and over again...

Please accept my apology if I am hijacking this thread but in my email I made a plea to Disney that they keep the statues and the other live "street performers" at all the parks.

I worry what is next..... the Mayor at MK??? DeVine at AK??? ETC.

I am not a rider so the performers are my favorite part of Disney. Let's hope they listen to us!!!

I was upset and did write. Do you remember the poor lady last week who was actually going this week-end. It was their anniversary and her husband passed on two months ago??? The ONE thing she couldnt' wait to do was watch the Living Statues. I told them the story and how dissppointed she was going to be and how that was my first thought when I heard they werent' there anymore. I've never written before, but they are wonderful and SO much fun. We pay enough that they don't have to cut out the best things!!!

What a shame...we also loved the living statues...a truly special, unique experience. And they do have them in Italy. We saw all over Rome so it is authentic to the country. I will definately send an e-mail.

According to a reply on the other Living Statues thread Disney are replacing them with fresh entertainment to stop things becoming stale!
I don't know who is replacing Andymation at MGM though.

We have only been to WDW twice. My DD who was 7 the last time we visited was so happy with the interaction of the actors. Eventhough it was just for several minutes, it was the highlight of her trip. As others have posted..this was a small part of WDW that can't be taken away without losing that "Magical Feeling" of WDW. I voted and E-Mailed for my daughter.

Thanks to everyone who has emailed so far. If everyone who has voted on the poll has emailed like they said they would, then Disney will have gotten over 60 complaints about this issue. Please encourage others to do the same. If Beaver Tails can be brought back, then so can the Living Statues!
