The Official Riviera Owners & Info Thread

Oh nice! Staying in that grand villa is totally a bucket list item for me - just looks so gorgeous. Have a blast at AKL!

The GV at Riviera did not disappoint. Everyone in the family loved the room and I would be happy to only stay at this GV for any future trips to WDW. The only downside is only 3 bathrooms vs some of the other GVs that have 4. It was never a major issue, but still would gladly trade off some of that dead space in the entry for another toilet and a shower. We also ended up getting a room on the Skyliner side instead of the pool side like we requested and actually now that we did the trip, I think I like that side better. You can exit and just go down the stairs real quick and you are very close to the Skyliner station. Also had beautiful views.

I’ve been slacking on writing up the trip report…

That's funny, because our shower had that exact same pattern on the wall tile.

I wonder if this is that same room we had in December (6th floor GV on the Skyliner side, but I don't remember the room number) or if the "natural stone" patterns are actually identical for all the rooms?
It’s the GV they use for the DVC tour.
We loved seeing it!

We stayed in a one bedroom and enjoyed our stay. Beautiful resort!

This may be unpopular opinion but primo priatto is hit or miss for us. Also, Topolinos breakfast is LACKING any egg allergy friendly options. This didn’t deter us from buying RIV but come on no allergy friendly Mickey waffles?! We always love Centertown Market however. We just hop on the skyliner and eat over there.
Reporting back on the egg allergy waffle situation. You were right, the egg free waffle is no longer offered. Very disappointing! My son ended up with yogurt and fruit.

Hi 👋 I rented points to stay at RR next May. I’m super excited to be staying here for the first time. My daughter and I booked a deluxe studio preferred view.

I was wondering if the RR shares buses to MK? I don’t think they do, but I wanted to verify with you guys.

Nope! They have their own buses!!!

First of all, THANK YOU FOR COMING BACK KIND STRANGER :)

This is disappointing. We own and love Riviera… we love Topolinos. But how can every other breakfast spot have allergy free waffles but this does not?

I will say though if you’re at a park and Skyliner goes down, sometimes the quicker option is to take a Caribbean Beach bus (since they are already up and running and a lot of them) and walk over to Riviera from their stop.

Or, if at the back of the park near world showcase and don’t have a guest with a scooter, walk over to BCV and order a Lyft back to RIV for $10!! Lol
