Is this post really necessary? The thread title is very clear. I'm sure posters who are feeling a bit priced out do not need you to smack their fingers and state the obvious.Just let folks have a place to vent without judgement. Is that so hard?
I was thinking of booking that 12-night cruise tomorrow for 2 adults/1 teen in a veranda. I'm thinking that's going to be a big no now, with the US/CDN exchange rate that would be cost to or over $20,000 for sure.
Going to check tomorrow on the 8 and 7 night northern European those may be more in our wheelhouse and is an itinerary we haven't done yet!

- you know that I am not a fan of DCL turning some of my favorite formerly public spaces into concierge - but heck we might have to thank these folks for paying so much so we don't have to pay that much more (for the SAME cruise!!)I think people are already aware that there are other options. You could just skip over threads that annoy you. I think the person that started the thread meant it to be a thread where people can complain.I'm sorry.
But it gets really old having the same thread every. single. release.
And as I said, I would love to be able to cruise Disney every single time - but I understand that it is expensive and sometimes I won't be able to. If an itinerary I want isn't in my price range I move on and look at other lines rather than complaining.
But that's just me.
I wouldn’t call 8k for a family of four in inside rooms cheap.and if you want a truly good deal, look at the British Isles cruise ... its downright "cheep"

Booked the 24 September 5 night Bahamas double dip. 5E cabin. $2447 with placeholder discount. I thought it was a good price with 2 visits to castaway.
As I expected, the summer cruises when both kids are out of school are out of my comfort zone. I'm willing to pay $1000-$1100/nt max for our family of 4 in an 9C oceanview on the Magic/Wonder. I look forward to when we can book the cheaper summer shoulder seasons...or when it's just DH and I cruising and paying airfare for 2 people vs. 4, lol. Someday... Not sure what's going to happen with our placeholder that expires on 8/16/20. I keep joking that I'll just take my college daughter on a January Marvel cruise...and leave DH and my high school daughter at home to fend for themselves...lol.
