Hey October people! For those of you who have been able to make FP+ selections...I'm curious about how difficult it's been to get a FP+ for Frozen Ever After...and also the latest times you're seeing FP+ for the Safari in AK for October... They haven't extended the hours yet (which is messing with my planning BOOO lol), but we'd really like to do the nighttime safari while we're there. My entire plan for AK is affected by whether or not the nighttime offerings are happening, I wish they'd just let us know what the hours will be! Thanks!!!

FPs for AK won't extend past the current park hours. Additional FPs will be added when (if?!) hours are extended.

On my FP+ date I didn't get online until a little after 7:30am, they open it up at 7:00am. By the time I got in there were only evening times available for FEA.

I had to go out 6 days from our check in day to find a morning FP+ for FEA.

We arrive on monday the 3rd, but our EP day isn't planned until Friday the 7th. At 7am the earliest I could get for that Friday was 1:45. I think it was maybe 12:30 available on the 8th. I didn't check the earlier days though.

Thanks! This is helpful! Our Epcot day is planned for the 4th day of our trip, so it's helpful to know if we want that FP+ we may have to move our schedule around a little! I'd rather not have to do that, but I also don't want to have a really long wait!

I was able to get a FEA FP 4 days out from arrival, earliest time was 1:25.

For AK, I've heard the safari is actually best at dusk. I was able to book a 6:30-7:30 FP with a 7:30 close and a ~7 sunset.

I think this will have a huge impact on crowds at MK the 1st week of October.

Great! That's helpful! I went back and looked at our schedule and crowd calendars and found our schedule would work out better if we flipped our Epcot and Animal Kingdom days - luckily this will work okay with the crowd calendar! That puts our EP day at day 6, so that should be better. We are doing a split stay, but I think what I've read here indicates that we'll be able to book all of our FP+ when our 60 day window opens up for our first stay because both are room-only reservations...if not, I'm going to flip things back because the new schedule has EP on day 2 of our second resort!

That's the day we arrive! I'm glad we will be able to catch it before it's gone. Buuuut the crowds will be massive

NOOOO......yet another Disney World icon gone......wonder if there will be a new 45th anniversary parade debuting in its place ?

Rumor is no new parade until at least January.
Some are speculating multiple runs of FOF on non-party days.

FP made! Of course I have this feeling of "well, I hope this is a good use of FP". I just have to figure out whether to do Pirates League on non-MNSSHP day or let it go. Might end up just asking the kids once we've surprised them. I swear (for the 2nd time so you can see how well that worked after the first), this is the last time I'm surprising them. Too hard to plan without input.

FEA: for the start of our trip, first day in parks on the 12th, nope. FEA FP were just gone. However, on Monday the 17th? Sure thing!
7DMT: didn't have a problem with this one at all. Good morning availability.

FYI, I will give you a heads up that Dinosaur is a surprise "hard to get" for the 17th. No FP on the 17th at all and had to move our plan for AK to Tuesday instead to get the FP.
