Here's a link to some great reviews for the beach bus tour... And a couple negative too of course. My favourite thing about their tours is that you aren't on a huge crowded bus . It's usually just you and a couple other families . It makes for a more personalized tour.

Looking forward to a great week with my DW, DS and his bride (their unofficial honeymoon). In on the 27th and out on the 4th. 5 day park hopper, plus the Halloween party during the week.

A facebook group just for disneyland oct/14 disers was requested... if anyone wants to join its set up now. I was a part of one when i went to WDW in 2013 and it was cool and i can and do frequent both sites regularly so joing if you all want or stay here, that's cool too

Finally an October thread, thanks for taking the time! My family will be going the 17-24. 17-18 staying at the HOJO and then moving to the GC the 19-24. We plan on going to one of the Halloween Party's also. It will be me, DH and 6 DDs (17, 15, 14, 8, 6 & 5).

Here's a little mood lifter if like me you are experiencing the Monday morning blues...

Yay for being able to hold our park tickets in my hand. Just looking at them makes my day brighter (which says a lot as I am home with strep throat AND an ear infection ) I stayed on property at WDW last yr so we never had paper tickets. They are so cute I want to smash book them lol

I am soooo excited to be going on my FIRST disneyland trip Oct 4-11!! We are staying at GCH with 5 day park hoppers and a halloween party. I am a DW veteran, but am CLUELESS when it comes to planning for DL It is driving me crazy that I cannot book ADRs since I am a plannerI am excited to read about all of your trips, and I am looking for all of the tips I can get.

YAY! Another October planner!! That's what I love about this forum, everyone is Disney crazy just like me Looking forward to hearing more about your trip plans.

Thank you for the welcome! We will be at DLR Sept. 28th - Oct 4th, staying at the Disneyland Hotel. While we are veterans of going to Disneyland, every trip is always only for 1-2 days while visiting family in Orange County. This is the first time we will be able to stay in the Disney bubble for a whole week. We're very excited.

The trip will be just my husband and I. We were thinking of avoiding the crowds at Mickey's Halloween Party and enjoying DCA or the hotel during those hours. I plan to spend a nice amount of time sketching in the parks as well while my husband is an amateur photography buff and will be trying to take more of a variety of pictures of the park than we already have in our personal collection.

My guilty planning pleasures include a lot of reading. Besides a lot of posts on these boards and trip reports from Octobers past, I've been brushing up on park and attraction history as well (both via online sources and this book: [(amazon) The-Disneyland-Encyclopedia-Unauthorized-Unprecedented-ebook/dp/B008OX3FWU/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top [I'm not allowed to post links yet]).

Does anyone know if the Animation Academy schedule is ever posted anywhere besides outside the theater in DCA? Is it the same schedule day to day? I plan on going to plenty of those.

Yes that was me I am so excited!!!! I cannot wait to start planning out our days, but I can't really do that until park hours are posted. I can plan a DW vacation like no ones business...I am little scared about DL..I don't want to miss anything

I'm not sure of the answer but would love to find out as well. DD is really wanting to get an opportunity to sketch stitch. Didn't happen @ WDW so hoping to hit up a few times to try her luck.
