ooohhh i do i do!!! I have my photopass+ pack all tucked away in my Disney drawer. not that you have to buy THIS early in advance but it is definitely a $$ benefit to buy in advance as compared to when you get there. Can't remember how much you save offhand but it's a good chunk of $$$.

Not sure about price increases but i don't think it goes up in the same way tickets do. I recently looked and I could still purchase the WDW one for same price i paid in 2012.

I'm planning a solo trip from October 20-26. I have 5-day park hoppers and will be staying at a Good Neighbor hotel. Excited for my first "real" trip to Disneyland after three trips to WDW! ( I went for one day as a 14-year-old, but we only did the coaster rides--didn't experience Fantasyland at all and DCA didn't exist). I'm not planning on the Halloween party, but may spend a day at Knott's Berry Farm if people think it's worth it.

I will be going in October. I think I will be going with two friends of mine and my then 2 year old son on Friday the 24th. Then my friends will go home Sunday and my husband will drive up to meet us. We will be there through November 1st. We are doing a split stay at paradise pier and disneyland hotel. Atleast I hope, we haven't booked it yet. I'm so excited to see all of the Halloween decor, we have never been this time of year. We will do 3 days between the parks and add in some beach days as well. We also plan on doing the Halloween party!

We are booked! Myself, hubby, son, daughter in law, 3 grandsons, ages 9,2,1. We are DVC members and will be staying in a 2 bedroom villa at GC. We will be there from 10/25-10/30. It's my DIL and grandsons first trip to Disneyland. We are super excited!

We're taking our first Disneyland vacation this October too, after several Walt Disney World trips. It's become a bit of an odd trip - we juggled some dates around after we booked our trip, due to airfare issues. So the current plan is to arrive on October 22 and stay that night at a GNH to be named (soon). Then we bounce over to Disneyland Hotel for October 23-26. Finally, we bounce from there to (probably a different) GNH for our last night, before heading home on October 27.

We've got three-day park hopper tickets, so planning on being in the theme parks on the 23rd, 24th, and 25th. Assuming there is a Halloween Party on October 22 (as expected) we're seriously considering adding that to our itinerary.

You will like the Fairfield. We have stayed there before, and staying there again (also having Marriott points does not hurt . The resort view vs city view is debatable on if it is worth the extra cost. If you are there over the weekend, you can watch the fireworks, but on week days it is just a view of the park, with no fireworks. If you have a city view you can also leave your rrom and go up and view the fireworks from the outside balconies.

Thanks Valiamo! I'm thinking we'll like it too. Only other place we've stayed is the Ramada Maingate but they no longer partner with AAA or Costco and I've booked through both (this time Costco). BW Pavilions was $264 cheaper but I think in the end the hassle of being that far just wasn't worth the savings.

My daughter and I will be at Disneyland from Oct. 10-13 staying at Best Western Park Place Inn and Suites. We are so looking forward to our stay. We will be at Disney for 3 days and then 1 day at Universal and then to San Diego for a couple days. We have a lot planned for our short time in CA!

I created a growth chart for my kiddos today for Disneyland rides. My 3yo is obsessed with BTMRR and still has several inches to go before October. Great motivation to eat his veggies!

Just booked our flights down and our hotel and sent registration for the Y.E.S program for the kids for 10/22-10/27!! We haven't been since the kids were really little and DS doesn't even remember, so I am so excited to go back!!
