Another strange coincidence...I see that you are from NC! We are meeting up with a large group from NC! DH's family is from Kernersville, and we choose these dates because all of the children that are traveling with us from that area have fall break during those dates.

has anyone ever been down the first week of oct?? if so how are the crowds being that the halloween party and food and wine fest are going on?

We were there last year from September 30 - October 5. We attended the MNSSHP on October 4th (which was a Thursday). The crowds were awesome. We had little to no waits for all the rides. It's a great time to go.

We called Disney last night, and we have finally booked our room! I'm so happy that we have finally booked our trip - we've been researching and planning for weeks!!

Isn't it funny how you spend weeks going over every detail and wondering if you're getting the best deal, or choosing the right hotel, and all the reading, and researching, and plotting and then the day comes when you make that phone call and actually BOOK THE TRIP!
