Well, all "seems" well here right now. Emma has been resting on the couch all day--thank goodness for Noggin! Days like these I don't mind if she's in front of the tube all day. Matthew is in the process of woofing down a PB sandwich--which I'm hoping doesn't end up all over my floor in a few minutes  That's the one reason I'm not giving him any more pumpkin bread--don't want to clean that up again! ;) I had DH run by the store and pick up Lysol on his way home from work and have been disinfecting everything I get my hands on! But sweet man that he is, also brought home some beer and pizza for tonight! Gotta love the man, knowing what stress I was under. Well, better go check on the infirmed!

dizagain - I just did the SAME thing last week - with a girlfriend of mine - I was going off about how she and I are not as close as we used to be and other things and I sent it to her by mistake, meaning to send it to someone else....I immediately got sick to my stomach and was panicked. I called her and admitted what I had done and was very apologetic. She is a very understanding person so all is well thank GOD. But really I was sick about it for a day or more.

From that point on every time I have sent an email I always check the TO before I hit the send button!!!!

Diz - Can you send a copy of that e-mail to my dad and stepmom? I can soooo relate to you. They informed me yesterday that if "the weather isn't too bad" they are coming for Christmas Eve and morning and leaving Christmas day. I like to be alone and relax as a family. I wonder if Al Roker takes bribes and can somehow make it snow. Anyway, I would die if I sent the e-mail to the wrong person, but at least it is off your chest and you will be able to spend Christmas the way you want to.

Aidan is biting me. Gotta go!

diz - OMG! I would be sick to my stomach too! It does sound like she might have needed to hear it though.

alice - There's nothing wrong with hoping for a little money. Don't be embarrassed about that.

icebrat - LOVE the CHAOS - Dh doesn't get why I panic if someone is coming over.

nucpharm - I hope things stay quiet for you. How sweet of your hubby to pick up dinner (and the lysol).

I'm torn, should I veg on the couch and read my book or hop in the shower? As far as I know we have no plans tonight so I don't need to be presentable.

tamie

OK, I'm trying to catch up a bit here.

GLT - I second what Robin said. I can't politely post what I think of your soon-to-be XH. Don't worry. He will get his in the long run :stir: . My dad was horrible when they got divorced. Now, my brother doesn't even act like he exists. He eats his heart out that he essentially lost his son.

Robin - I worry about finances too. Sometimes I wonder what the heck we do with our money. I really try to be good. This time of the year I know I'm just awful with spending. I can't help it. I did not have good holiday memories as a child so I go overboard. I have an amazon order sitting and waiting for me to check out right now, but I'm waiting for DH to come home and talk me out of it.

FF - I'm so ticked that I missed the keyboard. I paid full price for it. It's an awesome toy! I would have returned mine but I wasn't online last night so I missed it. Darn it! I was spending time reading with the kids.

nuc - Glad to hear everyone is feeling better.

Well, we traced the IP address on the computer that was used to write stuff on our website to Pennsylvania! I just don't get it. It's password protected. Who the heck would hack into it?! I lectured the students and told them my "spidey sense" was telling me that someone in the class did it. I let them think that the police were on it as well as the people from comcast and pbwiki. The "N" word was used so I told them it was considered a racial crime and had been reported to the cyber crime unit of the police department. I made it all up. Basically, we can't find out who it was, but I figured if someone in my class did it and someone else knew, they'd be singing like a canary.

GLT - I just went back and read your post from last night. What a jerk you soon to be ex is. I don't get men like that. But what I wanted to say was, we know a couple who divorced and the husband took a job that was less income and also included some money that he was paid under the table PURPOSELY so he did not have to pay full child support. Just be careful, those men are sneaky SOB's when it comes to child support.

FF - Am I doing something wrong? I keep doing searches for "blue man group keyboard" and it keeps coming up in the $70 range. I'm really ticked about this thing. I bought it from KB Toys. I read on the website that you can't return it to the store so I would have to ship it back which would be expensive. Then, my mom saw it in BJ's for $40.

DisKim,

An hour ago it was still at the sale price for me. I just looked again and it is back up to 79.95 UGH

I'm just so sick of all the Christmas garbage. I'm just going to keep the one I have and leave it alone. Who the heck wants to ship it back anyway!

don't feel too bad Kim; I paid $68 for one at Costco.

Costco had it too? Boy, I feel like an idiot for buying it for $80!!

On another note, if any of you wanted to get Holiday Barbie cheap, Amazon has it for $14.99. I've never seen one of those that cheap. Emily still plays with Barbies but I don't buy them for her anymore. I know my little girl will be thrilled!

Oh my, I would have gladly ordered them at the sale price for the mommies here who needed one.

We are off to dinner with MIL and friends. I'll catch up later.

J&D,

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE TELETUBBY!! KONA LOVES IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

J&D - Thanks so much for the exchange package!I got all kinds of great stuff. I love the Yankee votives, the Cindy bib and ladybug for Annabel, the picture frame, the snowman Post-Its, cookie cutter, etc. I have to go through the bag again, as I was trying to open it while Jimmy was tearing the living room/bedroom apart.

I am totally exhaused from today's outing. I have never been to Kohl's before and ended up getting all my new towels there. I found two bath sheets and hand towels on the clearance pile. Then I got two bath, hand, and washcloths in a stripe pattern to accent the plain stuff. I also got a funky rug. The color we chose, pumice, has a purple tint to it, so this should work well. I promise to take some pictures and post them this weekend.

I also got 4 new tops at Motherhood. I couldn't drag myself into Old Navy today. I think they were about $14 each and should tide me over for the next two months. I have always liked the stuff I got there, and it washed well. That's a plus since I'll be washing and wearing it for the next 8 weeks.

DisKim - If this is your group of seniors, you might want to drop the idea that graduation could be in jeopardy unless the hacker comes forward. I think I'm the only mom from PA, and I promise I didn't do it. :sad2: I'm too tired most days to post and check my e-mail, let alone hack into a website. I can't even imagine how to go about doing something like that.

I have to go wash my face. I really need to crash on the sofa and I smell a stinky diaper. I'll catch up with you all tomorrow.

lissawynn - I just cracked up at the image of you hacking into my website and leaving curses :rotfl2: . It was my freshmen, not my seniors. Freshmen scare easy but none of them broke. I just have to get over it and move on. I am just bothered also because one student was verbally attcked on it.

Good evening moms! :goodvibes

Dh and I just got back from Bonefish Grill and it was so wonderful to get out and have some adult time. We went out with our neighbors and had so much fun. Bonefish has a special White Christmas Cosmopolitan and I was in heaven. Gosh, I sound like a lush! I haven't had anything to drink in months and here I am two Fridays in a row drinking Cosmos. They were so yummy! :teeth: Our neighbors dd babysat the girls and John and we plan to do this on a regular basis. She loved babysitting and we loved going out. :thumbsup2 Sounds like a deal to me.

Anyway, on to how everyone else is doing.

DisKim - Sorry that one of your freshman didn't fess up. I wonder if someone will break down and confess next week.

Lissawynn - It sounds like you got some great deals today!

Diz - Sorry to hear about the e-mail incident but maybe it was something that your Aunt needed to hear. You've got a lot on your plate lately with the baby and getting your house ready for market so don't feel to bad about it. :grouphug:

GLT - Glad to hear that you are documenting stuff. It came in handy with my sister. I remember that my ex-bil pulled a lot of tricks so she had to take notes. :grouphug:

Floridfam - Have fun with your MIL tonight!

Nucpharm - Is everyone on the mend in your house?

Fabumouse - I forgot to tell you that I am so sorry about your MIL's mother. Prayers for you and your family. :grouphug:

Gems - I hope that you are doing well!

SL - Are you getting the itch for another baby?

J&D - Thanks for the card! :goodvibes

Tamie - Did you end up going out tonight? I hope you got a chance to relax today!

Bellacam - How is Bailey doing today? Do you have to use a nebulizer for her?

Hi to Hillbeans, Zalansky, Gems, Cabmom, Val, Justhat, Tasha, Icebrat, Robin, Gretchen, Joats, Ginamarie, BNBmom, Ryan840, DisneyPhD and everyone!

We've got an early basketball game tomorrow so I should hit the hay! :teeth:

ETA: Does anyone know if Disney serves Cosmos? :lmao: I think I may need to have one in the World next week! ;)

Link to new Gymbo lines...

http://junkjungle.com/121506_b.html

:rolleyes2 :faint:

Now I want a magical Gymboree gift card to show up in my mailbox. :wizard:

Jill- I'm sure Disney must sell Cosmos somewhere! That one you had tonight sounds yumm-ee!

lissa- sounds like you had a successful shopping mission. I took a cat nap on the sofa for about 20 minutes- I am so tired. I couldn't sleep last night and I think it's contributing to my mood. Sounds like you got a fun package from Jen! :thumbsup2

Well, I need to check on the spaghetti I'm cooking- tata!

Well, it sure looks as if both kids are on the mend. Thanks for all the PD sent our way. I"m hoping they're over it by tomorrow morning, b/c dmom called tonight and let us know that ddad booked two rooms at the Embassy Suites in Hot Springs for us all to have a family weekend. We were just supposed to go to the gardens to view the lights and see Santa, but now we'll get to stay over night too! Hey, it's only an hour away from here, but right now I'll take whatever vacation is thrown my way!

alice--you evil, evil woman!!!! ;) I just HAD to look at the new gymbo lines and OMG LOVE,LOVE the daisy raincoat and boots and the red polka dot swimsuit and hat is too cute!! If you find one of those magic Gymbo gc in your mailbox send one my way!

jill--I'm sure that WDW has got to have cosmos somewhere--probably any sit down place could make you one. And you don't sound like a lush, but 2 "adult Fridays" in a row woohoo! :woohoo:

lissawyn--score on all the shopping. I did a little bit of Old Navy shopping myself today, but it was online. I totally forgot that one of DH's cousins had a baby last week and we never sent a gift! :rolleyes1 Better late than never!

tkyes--I'm all for veg-ing and reading the book. I skipped the shower today--but that was due to getting up at 4:30 and then after cleaning up barf, I figured why try today!

Well, I better go spend a little time with DH. He's trying to convert back to a normal sleep schedule so he's on only a few hours sleep since yesterday--kinda loopy! Oh, did I tell ya'll for a xmas present at work, they gave everyone a CASE of toliet paper, paper towels and Kleenex. Now I've got 3 CASES of double/triple roll toliet paper which I have no where to store--anyone need any paper products? Nighty-night!

Happy Hannukah, everyone! :cool1:

Justine - ITA about the eating times - If Madeleine wakes up at 3:30 to eat and then sleeps until 7, I'm so much better off than if she wakes up at 2:30 and 5:30. It is rare that I can sleep after that last 5:30 snack.

Love the plaid!!! Madison is so beautiful.

About the great-grandmother - (Robin - she lived in Ashland for two years when we did, for undergraduate school at SOSU) now she lives next to Orlando (she's only been willing to meet us at WDW once, at Animal Kingdom) and we never have concrete plans to see her because she's one of those people who wants everything perfect before we visit. So we make plans and then her guest room isn't "ready" or she's tired. But I'm feeling like I need to be more pushy and just insist on coming (we always offer to stay at a hotel). :confused3

Nucpharm - we will definitely have to meet up for 2008!! And I need all the cheering I can get. :cheer2:

SL - but,you didn't say anything scandalous or inappropriate (nor did you edit)! You got my hopes up . . :teeth:

Tasha - what a day!! :guilty:

Dizagain - I hear you on needing the extra space! I realize it's not really a need - but my life is so much better if I have somewhere to go and then a place to put the kids' toys. About the solid food - she was prepared for me to be ready for solids at either 4 or 6 months. When I said YES! Solids now at 4 months! she gave me a sheet that started with rice cereal at 4 months. Yes, Madeleine is waking me up 2-3 times each night. It *is*making me nuts, but I keep thinking - how much longer can this go on? A week? Two?

GLT - it sounds like you're going to have to get mean with xdh. But I'm thrilled that you got a car that works for your family!!

GM - come to WDW for Halloween next year! We're coming on 9/30 and leaving 10/6, or thereabouts

Robin - we all blame our gymbo addictions on you! :teeth:

Ugh. Dh is looking for me. And the size of our house means he has found me - now.
