I will certainly keep you all posted. I actually got a call this a.m. from soon-to-be XMIL! Can you believe it? She was actually very encouraging and said that she was praying for me and the children. I cried, of course.

Then my neighbor, who has had her own issues, called me this a.m. to wish me luck. With everyone pulling for me, it has to work out, right? Then why am I so freaked out? And sick to my stomach? And ready to cry at the drop of a hat?

nucpharm/Dizagain - I just got a call 15 minutes ago saying that one of the vans is ready for me to test drive. I'm watching my friends kids and hope that when she gets back we can all load all the kiddos up and head to the car dealership to check it out.

Thanks Dizagain, thank you for keeping me in mind when getting rid of the car!

FF - hope everyone feels better soon! Good luck with MIL

Jill - thanks for the good thoughts. I have no clue how things are going to work out. It sounds like your sister and I could write a book together about all this.

DisKim - I say a few days in Disney sounds great! I was even thinking that for the Mom's meet, even if I can't afford the parks for more than a day that I'd still want to go just to meet all of you! WDW is in our blook ;)

Gotta change a dirty diaper, thank goodness for the distraction of children!

Hi Moms-

Real quick, but I have to take Sam to the dr. again. He got a case of rebound strep. This often happens with him; the last 2-3 times he's had strep anyway. I am going to discuss taking his tonsils out with the dr. :guilty:

GLT- I know our moms meet is a ways away, but if I can go, I will gladly sponsor you and your kids at room at Shades of green. It's a flat $103 a night. No tax, no fees, that's it- $103. It's within walking distance to the Poly. That's the same year I want to go to France with my mom, but I hope DH will give the green light for me or us to go to WDW for a few days in June, as we've discussed here. We shall see. :teeth:

And I mentioned this before several months ago, but we can sponsor two rooms at Shades. (besides our own). So, if you want a HUGE room for $103 a night, let me know for the mom's meet.

Z- no roosters here, but last I counted, neighbors across the street had 7 cars parked in the street. One has vines from the hillside growing on it. With a treadmill behind it, that's basically in the street. Other neighbor asked about 9 days ago if they would move it- so far the stove they had parked out there is gone, but not the treadmill. :rotfl:  Our neighborhood is definitely eclectic- ranges from solid middle class and even a tinge upper-middle, to yikes-o-rama PWT-ville. It keeps us grounded. :teeth:

GLT - Just wanted to say that I'm thinking about you today and hoping everything works out for you in court. I can't even believe your ex would want to fight you on the kids, seeing as how he hasn't really been the most involved parent when he lived with them. You really deserve those kids to be with you the majority of the time. Sometimes I just cant' figure people out. Good luck with everything!

I did take Henry to the ped today and she, after consulting with an attending, said to just ride it out. Now, I thought that myself but a month still seems like a long time. There's nothing else wrong with him though so I guess he'll get over it eventually.

We're off to Gymbo to exchange some socks cause my mom just mailed me the same socks that I bought Madison last week. You'd think she'd know by now that we own the whole store. ;)

Hi moms! I only have a minute - I have a ton of laundry to do and tonight is DH's company Christmas party which we have to dress up for. It's noon and I haven't even showered yet so you can see how far behind I am.

My parents are going to take Lucas overnight so we can stay at the party as long as we want. Free food, entertainment, and booze - can't beat that!

glt - Good luck today! You know we're all pulling for you! :grouphug:

alice28 - Sorry Sam has strep again.

nucpharm - How can you be that picky about sweets!?! Men!

dizagain - Sorry your car died. I once tried to donate my old junker from college and they kidney foundation wouldn't even take it! It still ran and everything.

llij - Good luck with all the eye appointments.

gm- OMG! I hope you're feeling better now! I had two kidney stones on two separate WDW trips. Once when I was pregnant so you know what that meant - no pain meds.

DisKim - Hope you can work the WDW visit in.

Hi to all the moms I missed. :wave2: I'll try to check in again before the party, otherwise I'll talk to you tomorrow!

Also, I know this is kind of lame, but along with the GC, I also win 3 tag genie wishes. I have 2 in mind, but don't really have anything in mind for the third, so if anyone wants a custom tag, be the first to PM me and I'll let the genie know. UPDATE: tag is spoken for

Robin,

What's required for SOG just a military id right? Do you have to be present to sponser rooms, because if you don't, I can sponser some SOG rooms as well.

Gotta run...

Wow, I posted tuesday and i'm 6 pages back.

I need to post a pic of the boys by the christmas tree - I did have pictures done at the Picture People for our christmas card, however I can't seem to get their link to work.

Not much else new here - I wanted to share with all my mom friends that i'm :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 with the Nuvaring (aka, glow necklace ;) ). I've gone through a whole month and I can say that I didn't have any side effects and in fact had a very light cycle and no cramping. That's like an extra bonus. So far, so good.

SL - I voted for you - so glad to hear you won the GC! Homemade Chex Mix - YUMMY!

GLT - Add me to the list of sending positive thoughts your way. I hope you get some kind of lead on a car soon. I can't imagine how rough it's been for you. :grouphug:

Bellacam - i'm so sorry to hear about Bailey and RSV - I agree with what everyone else said - you could have no idea what it was and don't create more stress for yourself by thinking otherwise. I'm sure she'll be fine. I'll keep all of you in my thoughts. :grouphug:

Ginamarie - You poor thing you!!!! :grouphug: :wizard: I can't believe you're in WDW and had to go through all of that. Hang in there. Hope you're having a great time (otherwise) and enjoying WDW.

Tamie - I love the christmas card of you, Tyler and DH - very nicely done! Sorry that your MIL didn't take you up on the chance to see you and Tyler. I think sometimes they don't think that maybe you'd like company/a break sometimes. Texas Roadhouse - OMG - YUM. We go to one in PA on the way to my MIL's occasionally. They have the best rolls/cinnamon butter and buckets of peanuts on your table. They play a lot of country music through the Jukebox (Hello Tim McGraw) and the food is BBQ - Ribs, Steaks, Chicken, etc. The kids menu is pretty basic.

Icebrat - Continued good thoughts with little Tess. princess: That stinks about the job - what a shame. I'm really sorry that you had to go through that, talk about a slap in the face. :grouphug:

Fabumouse - LOL about the Manflu - Sorry your DH is really sick, but your description made me :rotfl: .

Hermosa - Congrats with the baby on the way!!! Keep us updated.

Nucpharm - I love Magic Cookie Bars - YUM! Enjoy your relaxing day today. :thumbsup2 :)

Jill - You seem to be running from morning until night lately. I'm sorry that the eye appt didn't go well, and I hate getting lectures from Doctors. Good luck with the contacts for Meagan. I have a huge aversion to the Eye Doctor. I went in 2005 after not going since I was 12 years old. I was about to fall out of my seat when they did the cateract test and dialated my eyes. I hope she does well with the contacts.

Joats - i'm so sorry to hear about Jace's appointment at the Doctor. I hate the appointments where they pile on the shots. Jace is pretty tall! :) Have you thought about Febreeze on that blanket? Anything that has mothball smell in it is hard to get out. Good luck.

J&D - I got a box full of some supplies we mentioned in the PM and they'll be going to your friend tomorrow along with cards for each soldier. I know I came into this late so they may not be there for the 25th, but they will have a goody box coming hopefully before New Year's.

Diskim - it's a huge undertaking having a party this time of year when you're already stressed out with work and Christmas. It's funny - we have a big house now, but one room has no furniture and because of it, I've not had our neighbors over for any "indoor" parties because they would have to sit on folding chairs - LOL. At least now with Christmas we have the big tree in that room (it's our formal living room). Personally I like entertainiing more over the warmer months where we can be outside or on the porch.

Dizagain - Sorry to hear about your car - UGH. :moped: :moped:

Loretta - I'm sorry to hear about your dad. What an upsetting situation. :grouphug: I wish you and your family the best over the next few weeks. I've been a little melancholy these past few days thinking about my mom and how she used to make Christmas fun because she loved buying lots of presents. I just hate cancer, it's a terrible, awful disease. Sorry to hear about the Roosters and your neighborhood - now it makes a lot more sense why you want to move. :grouphug:

Alice - Great job with the 8th place finish! You go girl! :thumbsup2 :woohoo: I hear that you guys are having just awful weather - hope you and the family are all doing well. Do you have snow on the ground where you live? I can't believe your neighbors have 9 cars, a stove and treadmill outside - when did a yard become a dumping ground? Ugh! Sorry to hear about Sam and his strep - sounds like he may be a candidate for tonsil removal.

Justine - i'm glad Henry napped well for you on Tuesday. Maybe he'll get into a good napping pattern for you over the next few weeks.

Tasha - Sorry to hear about Kylie's upset belly. Usually it's a 24 hour thing - I find that my kids only throw up when they've got a stomach bug but it usually passes as quickly as it came on. Nice to hear from you again!

Alissa - hang in there - sorry to hear you lost your yearbook pages. You sound so busy as of late, and i'm sure you're extra tired also. At least they're making great progress on your house! :teeth:

Cabmom - Nice to see you again. Hope you're doing ok these days.

Gems - How are you feeling? When do you go to the Doctor again? Hope your balloon business is thriving too. :)

Floridafam - Glad to hear Kona is doing and that you're enjoying your visit from MIL. :)

Bnb - Your Santa's trail mix sounds delicious. I love any kind of trail mix. Sorry the oreo recipe didn't work out for you and Jocelyn. Oh well.

Hope I didn't miss anyone, if I did I apologize. Have a great day everyone.

Good afternoon moms! :sunny:

I'm in between appointments at the moment....... I can't see that well closeup so if I have any major typos please forgive me. :3dglasses

GLT - Thinking and praying for you. Yes, you and my sister could probably write a book. The stories I have about what my sister went through is just crazy. Since your dh wasn't too involved when you lived together then I don't see why the court would listen to what he wants. Plus, it sounds like your dh is trying to play games with you and the courts see right through those games. They don't look too kindly on that. Oh and what you are feeling is completely normal. You are under a lot of stress. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. :grouphug: :grouphug:

Hillbeans - Glad to hear that the nuvaring is working out!! I can't wait to see a picture of the boys too. They are such cuties!!

SL - Have a great time this evening at the party!

Robin - How sweet of you to offer to sponsor a SOG room! Those rooms are wonderful! I hope that Sam feels better soon!

Icebrat - That is sweet of you to offer as well. SOG likes the sponsor to be present at check in for the rooms though. Maybe you should go to the 2008 Moms meet and bring Tess!

Floridafam - Great to see you! :wave2: Sorry to hear that your ds is still sick.

Justhat - I hope that Henry feels better soon too. One month is a long time for a cold. Maybe going to Florida will clear it up. I know that sounds crazy, but a few times when we went to Disney the girls had colds and once we got there "poof" they got better.

Nucpharm - Your cookies sound so yummy! :goodvibes

Dizagain - Sorry to hear about the car!

Well, I got another lecture from the eye doctor today. This is a new doctor in the practice and I will make a mental note to not go back to her. She lectured me on how I wear my contacts too long, I hadn't been in for a check up, yada yada yada. I finally told her that last year was a bit chaotic due to me having a baby, major surgery and my son having surgery. Getting my eyes checked was the last thing on my mind. And I wear contacts a lot since my baby likes to pull my glasses off. Oh and I'm a full time student in graduate school with three kids so I tend to prioritize what I can do and yes, I should get checked yearly but I did the best I could! :lmao: She backed off then and was nice.

I hope she is nicer when I come back with Katie.

Well, I better run! GLT, let us know how it goes later. :grouphug:

I am just HATING work today. One of my students finally told me that someone edited our class webpage and put a whole bunch of obscene stuff there. It was just disgusting. It was done from a home computer so I don't think I can catch who did it. Our wiki is private and you need a password to get in so it has to be someone in my class. I'm so ticked off. The little brat even used the "n" word after I just freaking taught them To Kill a Mockingbird. It is a scary day for me to think about the fact that these are our honors students. I seriously have no idea who it could be. If it is someone in class, he/she is hiding his/her true nature very well and is having a big old laugh. This is the stuff that just disgusts me.

GLT - I am thinking of you and praying that everything works out well. I can't imagine that things wouldn't go your way since he is the one who did wrong.

Tamie- I forgot to compliment you on your card- you all look wonderful!

Roadhouse is in my top 10 of fave restaurants. I love their 'side' salads- HUGE with REAL bacon bits and it's just so yummy. Standard steaks, ribs, burgers, chicken, but like Hillary said, to die for yeast rolls with a sweetened butter. I wanna go NOW.

Ice- you have to be there with your sponsored parties upon check in, and they can only stay as long as you stay. So it's really gotta be coordinated that everyone arrives on the same day, and departs on the same day (although the sponsored party can leave earlier).

Hillary- no snow, just buckets and buckets of RAIN. Good lord is it WET outside. I have no idea why the h*ll people would decide to hike on Mt Hood with a winter storm approaching. So tragic for something that could have been avoided. We can see Mt. Hood whenever we drive up our hill to the bank, the grocery store, etc. It's still breathtaking every time I see it, and I've lived her 12 years! It's about an hour and 15 minutes from here, so even though it looks like a blizzard there, Portland rarely gets snow. Maybe once a year and it's usually just an inch or two.

GLT- I'm praying for you right now, as it's 12:30 my time....I wonder if it's already over? Hope the van works out for you!

Justine- I am SO AT GYMBO next week when that new line comes out. I think there are some sneak peek pics at Gymbohaven.com. I love it! I wish I had some stuff to return so I could get a merch credit so I wouldn't be spending new money. Glad Henry is OK.

They are doing a 24 hour culture this time for Sam....the doctor thinks it is strep though and this is the 4th time since July he has had it. She said if it comes up + tomorrow, she will refer us to an ENT doctor to discuss a tonsillectomy. I haven't told him what that is yet. :guilty: The whole thing is a bit scary to me, but the poor kid can't keep doing strep 4-6 times a year. Esp since his body seems resistant to penicillan for strep- I don't want him immune to the benefits of penicillans before he's even an adult.

OK, need to put Molly down, and then go full blast on my write ups for my new Disney Cruise Ship. I'm sure you will all want to vacation on my team's ship! It's cool! :boat:

glt - Crossing my fingers, toes, arms and legs for you today!!

jill - How nice of that Dr. to scold you! That will definitely get you to come to the eye dr. more often  Way to set her straight!

robin - Poor Sam! That is way too often for anyone to have strep, ouch! I bet your ship will be great!

sl - Have fun at the party tonight! Dh's work party is actually tonight too, but since he's in Europe we obviously aren't going. That's great that your parents are taking Lucas for you!

diskim - I would be so dissapointed in my students too. I can't believe someone would do that. :(

hillary - I can't wait to see your card. Good to hear the glow in the dark necklace is working ;) :thumbsup2

justthat - I hope Henry shakes his cold soon, that is a long time!

diz - Sorry about your car!

nucpharm - enjoy your nothing day!

I think we'll definitely have to try Texas Roadhouse when it opens. Maybe after our trip to Mexico so I won't feel guilty with the cinnamon butter, that sounds sooo good!

Thanks for the kind words about our Christmas cards!

Not much going on here. Tyler and I ran to the post office (not a single person in there!) and then to the library this morning. I should have got a work out in, but my back is still hurting occassionally. I'm debating about seeing a chiropractor.

I think we're doing something with my parents tonight, so that should be fun.

TTFN! Tamie

Good afternoon all! I'm stealing a little time while DH gives Luke his solid food bath--tonight it's cub scouts, gymnastics, and a band concert, yee ha!

I have good news and better news--Luke went to the doctor yesterday, and is doing great! He weighs 17 pounds, 12 ounces, which is only 10th percentile, but we'll take it! He was 50th height, but I don't remember the number. And his testicle descended, so that's good news.

The better news is, we closed on our DVC points today, so we're officially owners! Which doesn't do a whole lot for us, but just nice to be "in"! And I always get nervous sending a big check through the ether.

SL--Yes, that package was from me! It was funny, because I just about got back from the post office, and got yours, and recognized the return address. I'm glad you like the stuff--I thought those sugar coffee toppings would be great on hot cocoa also.

GLT--I hope all goes well at your hearing today. Try to keep a good thought.

Robin--I'm thinking that your cruise ship would be a great spot for that "make your own funnel cake" station we had talked about. Betcha no other team would have that! Of course, there might be an itty bitty problem with rough seas causing hot oil to splash, but I'm sure you can work around that.

justthat--I didn't mean to make you paranoid on the pregnancy thing. I had a friend in college who had three "oops" babies--for the third, they were using 2 types of bc! And I know you're pretty fertile. But seriously, I know you want to wait, and I hope you're not. Someday, though.

Hermosa--Great news on the grandbaby! Make sure to post photos, we go nuts over them!

Loretta--At our old house (same town, couple miles away), we had a neighbor's chickens that would wander into our yeard occasionally. We gave them names, like Parmesan, Marsala, Francais, and so forth. you could also hear cows mooing on a clear night. It was very peaceful, though. And this is a rural town. In fact, I almost hit a deer taking someone to or from dance last night. We get moose and bear, too, although I haven't seen either, knock wood.

bella--Take good care of little Bailey, you're in our thoughts and prayers.

Gina--I can't believe yoru kidney stone story! I could just see you at WDW pregnant--"yeah, the contractions were 2 minutes apart, and I knew I had to push this kid out in time to get to our dinner seating..." You go, girl, and I hope you're having a marvelous time!

I got my goodie bag today! I love all my stuff! I got some Disney stickers for my upcoming trip's scrapbook. A Christmas CD that I am listening to as I type- so festive! Good idea! An entire bag of Dove Dark chocolate, which I am munching- such a stress reliever with all this wasabi junk. A cute emery board and some YUMMY smelling peppermint body scrub. I will need to hide it from DH. Your 'clues' cracked me up. :rotfl: I bet your belly is NOT jiggling- it's probably getting to that point where it's so taut you could bounce a quarter off of it.

OMG- I just crapped on a cracker cause I went to gymbohaven and looked at the sneak peek pics of the new line. The layette girl is, well....it seriously made my stomach seize it is SO CUTE AND MOLLY DOESN'T FIT IN IT ANYMORE! :sad2: I'm going to fit her in the dress one way or another. :rotfl2: But the Baby Girl is right up there in cuteness. This is seriously in my top 5 of all time favorite Gymbo lines, and that's saying something. Good lord....I NEED THE SWIMSUIT and that blue sweater, and the embroidered top and the...and the....and the.....DH is going to shoot me, and I don't care!

Yay Luke on gaining some more weight! :cheer2: And congrats to you guys for closing on your DVC points. I have decided we will buy if we really don't like SOG. Otherwise SOG is the bargain of the "World" and we don't need DVC as long as we can stay there (forever now that DH can retire military). So, we will see.

Kim- I'm sorry one of your students did such a lousy thing....stupid, stupid, stupid. :guilty:

J&D- I rec'd some mail from you too- thank you! :thumbsup2

Gems- you out there? I'm hoping you will receive your package from all of us soon. Everything ok with the shop and with baby?

GLT- how did the hearing go?

OK, suddenly 2 neighbor kids just opened my front door and invited themselves in...WTH?

Good evening ladies! :sunny:

Three posts from me in one day......that must be a record! :teeth:

GLT - How did everything go today? I've been thinking of you all afternoon. :grouphug:

DisKim - What one of your students did is just awful. I hope that you figure out who it is.

BNBmom - Congrats on Luke gaining weight! He weighs almost as much as John. Congrats on the DVC closing too! I keep telling my parents they should buy into DVC.

Tamie - Have a great time with your parents tonight!

Robin - A friend of mine has three daughters and they were always getting strep throat. They finally had their tonsils out and 'voila' no more strep throat. I hope that Sam is ok.

Well, I got my third lecture from the eye doctor this week! This time it was about how Katie should have had her eyes patched when she was younger. Last time I checked, Katie has been coming to this practice for 4 years seeing the doctors here and not one of them ever mentioned putting eye patches on her. Also, last time I checked I didn't have my degree in medicine but heck I should have known. After she examined Katie, she said that things were actually fine but I still got a nice lecture beforehand. I also got lectured about how since Katie couldn't see details as a baby her brain couldn't develop properly and that she will be a slow reader. :sad2: She said more but I won't bore you with the details. What the doctor doesn't know is that Katie is an amazing reader and she is in the advanced reading group at school but oh well....I just let the doctor lecture. If our regular eye doctor in this practice wasn't so booked up I would have seen her. She is wonderful! This new doctor leaves a lot to be desired. Thankfully, I'm set for a year. Heaven forbid if I am 4 months late in getting my kid's eyes checked. Call protective services on me.....

Ok, rant over. I feel better now. :p

Hi to all the moms! :wave2:

All aboard the Choo-Choo Train......I can't get Choo-Choo Soul out of my head. I've seen this one episode about 20 times today alone. I've never even seen another episode. I wish they'd make a full show so I could Tivo another eppy. I have to say, it's quite a catchy tune and am so glad to have kids music that is not syrup-y sweet. It's funky and fun.

We had our work holiday party today. I was on the committee and in the show. A few us did a Jeopardy skit. I was Alexandra Trebek :rotfl2:
We got a lot of compliments which made me feel good as I wrote the script too. We had a lot of raffle prizes - I won a pizza stone kit which I am very excited about. It was fun event.

GLT: I hope that things went ok today. Please update us when you can. :grouphug:

Robin: "Crapped on a cracker" :rotfl2: :rotfl: You and Gymbo make quite a pair. I'd go nuts if someone just walked into my home...Hope it turned out ok with the 2 kids.

BNB: :woohoo: For Luke! for your DVC!

Tamie: Hope you have a great time with your folks tonight.

DisKim: How awful about your student and the webpage. That's horrible. I hope you can find out and hold responsible who did it.

Jill: Sounds like you "schooled" the eye Dr. Geeze, you certainly have had some year!!

Hillbeans: I would love to see a picture of the boys! Post when you can.

SL: Congrats on your big win and gift card  Have a fun time tonight at the party. Have a drink for me!!

Justhat: Glad you took Henry to the MD regardless. Better to have had him checked out. Hope he's on the mend soon.

FF: Glad you are having fun with MIL...enjoy your time together!

Nucpharm: hope you enjoyed your "nothing" day today.

Dizagain: Sorry about the car situation.

Hello to all the moms I'm missing. Gonna go hang with DH and go to bed early. I have a very stressful/busy day at work tomorrow (as I need to make up for all the time I've lost w/the holiday party and planning).

:)

Thank you very, very much Joats....I now have that song in my head! Ack!

I stole the crapped on a cracker from someone else on this board- it's either Vettechick or Utah Momma. It cracked me up when I read it the first time!

Oh, and you'll never guess- those two kids belong to the 7 car house with the stove/treadmill decor. Well, ahem, just treadmill. I just reminded them it's polite to KNOCK- their brother, whom I invited over, was playing PS2 with my boys, and apparently in their world, that makes it ok to just open my door, since their brother was inside.

Jill- what the heck is that doctor lecturing you for? Ugh. I HATE that when doctors are condescending!

Anyway, off to check on wasabi- I think it's actually coming along ok now. I was just feeling overwhelmed with it yesterday, but all is kind of falling into place now. phew.

Need to figure out dinner. I think Chinese sounds good....

Another quickie from me. BIL painted our bathroom and is coming back tonight to do another coat. DH is up there putting primer on the walls in one of the kids' rooms.
I took a personal day tomorrow. My mom, sister, and I are going shopping. My sister and I need to finish up for our dad.

On the homefront...our contractor thinks he'll be done next Thursday. That leaves a window for the carpet installer. There is a very good chance we will be sleeping in our new bedroom by the end of next week. DH would have the weekend to move our furniture upstairs. I would have the week off work to get our rooms and closets semi-organized. We do need to paint the dresser and nightstand that will be in the baby's room, but that isn't a necessity.

GLT - I've been thinking of you today. I'm sure once a judge heard about your ex's extra-marital love life and the fact that he pretty much let you be a single parent for over a year, you will get everything you are entitled to.
Please let us know what's happening.

Alice - I'm glad you got your package. Talk about speedy service from the USPS! Enjoy all of your goodies!

Jimmy is in monster mode. I'll try to be back later.

ETA - I just looked at the new lines on Gymbohaven. Daisies are my favorite flower and I am a total sucker for navy blue and white polka dots. This baby girl is going to put me in the poor house.

No freaking kidding. I think my Amex which is one payment from being paid off, now might be two payments away. :rolleyes1

So glad your house is coming along!!!!!!!!!

Have I mentioned I love the CD you made me!? It's great! Not to mention I tossed all my Christmas CDs last Jan- DH ripped them to the computer, with the promise of making me custom CDs, and it never happened. Our CDs were a MESS anyway, so I didn't mind chucking a bunch of them, but grrrrr without my CDs. I should just try and burn some myself.

My "catch up" day with DH became his day to do his expense reports. It really sucks because he can hold that over my head - and he *knows* I'm going to say he needs to get them done. :sad2: He's feeling very guilty right now, so I think he'll be a good boy tomorrow. :teeth:

My MIL's mother has breast cancer that went to her lymph nodes. I was crying last night pretty hard about this - I really like this woman and I've always heard terrible things about lymph cancer. I don't want her to die before she gets to meet Madeleine.

Bellacam - I feel just horrible for you. I see the ads in the magazines all the time, but I assumed that I would know if I needed to worry about it from her doctor. I would never have realized what it was, either :guilty:

Robin - what fun to design a disney ship!

nucpharm - I had two great workouts at the gym this week! I was going to go today, but my stress level over holiday stuff to get done was so high, I ran errands instead. Are you running at WDW in Jan?

Tasha - I hope Kylie is doing better today! Because of Kailey's reflux, our apartment and car *reeked* like barf for 2 years.

Icebrat - I would have some clean PJ's and Undies ready for her, as well. And a nightlight - she's likely to be scared.

SL - yay on the giftcard!

Justine - great to hear that Henry is feeling better and most importantly - that he slept!! Madeleine wouldn't nap today for more than 15 minutes, and she crashed an hour ago. Her bedtime is 9pm - and here it is 8:15 and she's still napping. :sad2: I don't think it's going to be a good night. Which is too bad because she normally is very good - bedtime at 9 or 10. Eats at 1 and 4 and wakes up with me at 7.

Hermosa - yay!!! Hope it goes smoothly. :cheer2:

GM - I'm so sorry! OUCH!

Jill - I really get irritated with doctors who forget they're selling *me* a service.

Kim - UGH! I'd be so upset about the wiki stuff.

GLT - I was really hoping to hear from you on how the hearing went today. Those things can be so rough.

Tkyes - I'm amazed you found an empty post office! Our normally quiet one was out the door today. I only shipped one package, but at least it's one fewer in my living room.

BnB - I so do NOT want to hear of someone getting pregnant using 2 types of birth control!!

FF - :wave2:

And now I'm headed to my email to look at the gymbohaven photos. You lovely ladies are a bad, bad influence on me.

Robin - I actually looked at the Gymbohaven site before I went to the mall today and fell in love with that swimsuit! I love bees so I'm so sad that Madison won't fit in layette anymore either. I was thinking about squeezing her in a dress too, but by spring she'll be 3 so I think 18-24 months might really be pushing it.

Oh, and I have a credit at Gymbo too but I forgot to bring it with me today. Guess I have an excuse to go back now! I ended up exchanging the socks for some tights for Madison (tights I already own I might add, but she fell in them 3 times at the park Monday so now they have a hole and I need them for Christmas portraits tomorrow), but then also got Henry some airplane socks to go with the airplane stuff I bought him for next fall, 2 pairs of shorts and a onesie for him, and 4 shirts for my niece and nephew. So I got 9 items for $31! :teeth: Everything was on major sale, plus I used one of those 20% cards and the 5% visa discount--the shorts were only $1.22!! Okay, I'm way too excited about all this.

Fabumouse - Henry slept till almost 7 this morning too and I was thrilled! He's usually up by 6, but he woke last night to eat around 3 or 4am so I guess that held him over. I'd almost prefer to wake and feed him once and have him sleep till 7ish than sleep all night but be ready for the day at 6am.
Sorry about your MIL's mom. :grouphug: Do you guys have plans to see her anytime soon? Where does she live, near your in-laws? I hope she's able to pull through. :grouphug:

BnB - See, that's just my fear! That despite using birth control I will still get pregnant. I think I'd kill my husband if that happened. I'm thankful that we don't have fertility problems, but it scares me at times too. I don't want to use pills with estrogen (or anything with estrogen) cause my mom had breast cancer, so I feel like I'm living on edge all the time.

Congrats on the DVC!! And Luke's weight too!

Jill - I let my husband plan more of this trip than he's ever done and it's sorta concerning to me now that it's so close. Like the 8pm dinner at LTT on the MVMCP night. And one other night he decided he just had to eat at CG so he booked it for 9:40. Why he thinks that's a good time with 2 young kids is beyond me. I made an earlier ADR at Jiko that night in case he comes to his senses. He wasn't thrilled with Jiko but that was all that was left by the time I realized what he had done.

Oh, and I haven't been to the eye dr in ages, probably about 6 years. Remind me not to go to yours cause I don't want to be yelled at!

Joats - We love Choo Choo Soul too! We sing it all the time. I like some of those new short shows cause they're not as cheesy as most kid shows/songs. And :lmao: about Alexandra Trebek!

Ginamarie - Ouch on the kidney stone! But wow that you just went right on with your vacation! :cheer2: My morning sickness started the last 2 days of our Christmas trip last year and I thought I was going to die, but you have a really upbeat attitude!

GLT - I hope everything went well for you today. :grouphug:

Lissawynn - How exciting that you'll be in your "new" house by next week! I really can't believe that the contractor stayed so true to his word about the timeline.

Kim - I'd be so ticked about your wiki project too!! :furious: Why do kids do such stupid things!?! That's really disappointing that one of them would do that. I hope you can resolve the issue without too much work.

Tamie - My MIL is kinda similar about seeing us, but she doesn't live nearby. She'll say how she never sees the kids, but doesn't come visit us. :confused3 Enjoy your night with your parents.

Bellacam - I hope Bailey is feeling better and doing well today! :grouphug:

I'm off to clean up the house a bit before bed and then check out the DCL site cause the excursions for the Mediterranean cruises were posted today apparently. They've also announced a waitlist for DLP add-ons, which we plan to do so I'm pretty happy about that too cause we were just gonna book all that ourselves but I think it might be easier to do it with them.

Tomorrow we're getting the Christmas portraits and Henry's christening photos (yes, late, I know!) done so wish me luck. It was hard enough last year with just Madison, I can't imagine what I'll go through tomorrow.
