I'm hoping to do a DVC tour on our non park day, by going to the DVC counter at the contemporary (or rather, set up the appt a few days earlier, but we will be at chef Mickey's on this day). Can I do it on a non park admission day?? I really don't want to spend my park time doing a DVC tour!

And in this case, I should be able to park our car at Disney springs & take the bus to the contemporary, correct?

Magic Bands arrived yesterday. And two packages were delivered today from Amazon with things we need for the trip. 24 days till we start the drive

Since our trip is a surprise we really can't talk about it often. Thankfully my husband is on leave from work until right before his retirement ceremony so he's home all day now. Today we were talking about our trip and decided that instead of leaving at noonish (we're about a 7 hour drive with stops for kids, meals, etc) we'd tell the kids they had an appointment and leave in the am. While we'll likely do dinner with family we always neglect when in town we'll be able to checck in earlier in the morning on check in day so we'll have the whole day at Disney instead of the late afternoon/evening! So excited! And love that my husband is just as excited about this as I am, even though he complains about Disney stealing all our money!

Leaving in eleven days! We are taking my son's girlfriend for her very first trip to WDW! I am so excited to see it through a newbies eyes. She is SO excited. We are staying at AoA Cars suite for the first time and eating at all new restaurants. No faves this trip.

We leave the day after their last college exams and will drive in on Mother's day from New Orleans. I have ordered custom ears for the first time ever off of etsy. We are doing memory Maker for the first time as well.

I've got 22 more days and it's definitely starting to drag for me. I found myself already starting a "to-pack" pile last night before realizing I still have three weeks to go and will probably need some of that stuff before I leave

So funny that you should say this, we have just had all of our cases out and packing them, almost certain that I have enough things to last a month but the OH just doesn't understand that I need options!

Hi everyone! We have 24 more days till our trip and it can not come fast enough. This will be our second trip as a family last one in 2009 when DD was 4 and now she is 11. Looking forward to making lots of fun memories.

Single digits!! question though if anyone knows.. I have my regular magic bands, but just got my ones for the hotel. We will be getting to the park before checking in, can I use the new magic bands or do I need to bring my regular ones to use because the hotel ones won't be activated yet? I hope that made sense,lol..it did in my head anyway

I believe that if you bought a package you will have to check into the hotel before your tickets will work at the park. That is unless you have the direct to your room checkin activated. Not positively sure

One week!!!!! We'll have checked in early in the morning one week from today...to the Contemporary! I am still finishing up shirts for the family, but have started packing what I can. Considering it's in the mid 80's here and the kids don't know about the trip that's a slim amount, but I have labeled ziplocs with what goes in them and will start tucking away what I can. One more set of family shirts to make and then I am hoping to make a Prince Charming shirt for my two little boys. If I have the vinyl for it, I might make the oldest a cute Marry Me Anastasia shirt for Park Fare. We'll see how much I can get done. I should have started earlier, but it's hard to get things done in the one hour or so I have that the littlest naps and the older two are at school!
