Hi momto2greatkids! I'm Back on the DIS after taking a break from planning. On the front page, if you could update that I'm staying at the Sheraton Visana resort (May 2 - May 9). Thanks!

Just bought my park tickets today... a bit anxious about getting them from AAA (my son's child ticket doesn't look to be RFID) but hopefully I'll be able to link them to my old magic bands and we'll be good to go on our first park day on May 3rd. We're going to try to run to the 7DMT and pray we get on in less than 45 minutes. That's the only ride we're "worried" about, otherwise our goal was to see what we see and take it easy this trip.

Hey y'all! I think I have everyone added now. We got to spend the day at Magic Kingdom last Sunday. My daughter was down for a cheer competition. Her group won! Anyone who has ridden 7 dwarfs mine train - did you like it or Big Thunder Mountain better? I personally liked Big Thunder better. I guess because it seemed faster and longer. 7d was beautifully done though. I enjoyed it too. Also anyone who has stayed at the Riverside and at Caribbean Beach, which resort did you like better?

I definitely agree with you! 7 Dwarfs was really neat the first time especially since it is new and the technology within the ride is amazing but Big Thunder Mountain seems longer and more of a thrill ride to me.

We'll be at Port Orleans Riverside May 10 - May 16. We've got a family of 14 going. Some of the family going brand new and never even travelled before, the couple with the kids have been once before and my brother and I and our wives have gone 3 times in the past 3 years. So this will be interesting/fun

Today marks 99 days to go for me. We'll be there 5/30-6/6 for my big birthday celebration!! Cannot wait. It feels like it's taking years!

Just booked 5/12 - 5/16 for SWW with my dad & brother - trying to get my mom to come along this year, but so far, not happening! We'll keep working on her, though. It's been ten years since we stayed at Pop & we really want a resort that doesn't share a bus, so we're going back!

Mom agreed to go, but wanted to stay Deluxe, so we've switched to the Poly.

I just found out yesterday that they have a bridge between the two and show movies at each can't wait til they post the May events calendar for the hotels
