Has anyone had any problems at the airport? Since the bombings..
Longer lines, more bag checks?

Great question, I was wondering too. Although we are flying out of TF Green this time (which I've never done), but still...

We'll be there May 10th through 18th and don't expect to encounter many crowds.

Colleges are usually wrapping up by that week but public schools won't really end until at least the end of May and more likely the middle of June.

I am there from the 9th - 15th and Touring Plans rates the park crowds between 4-6 for those days.

It just seems like yesterday that I booked our resort (it was in November) and it would be forever til our much needed and almost 18 month absence from Disney. I have most of my clothes packed except for socks and things like that (nothing major).

i'm taking my ipad with me this trip, I'll have it in a canvas shoulder type bag with my phone and camera.
will I need to take it out of the bag like people with laptops have to do when I go through security ?

That is good question my wife often flys and she said she has done it both ways having just the iPad in case though ,so prob be best to have all out and ready for inspection if it is a multiple type case

We will be heading to Disney World May 11 - 18. Can't wait!! We went last year with our 2 sons and they had a blast. So we decided to do it again. This year they are 5 and 2 so they will have even more fun.

The concerts were AWESOME! 3 Sold Out Performances and 6 standing ovations. Thank you for asking. I am emotionally drained, but now I can concentrate on the 18 days until DISNEY!!!!

STAY BUSY! We leave in 9, between now and then, 2 soccer practices, 1 soccer game, 1 ballet practice, 1 yard sale, 1 MS walk, working 40 hrs a week and packing!

This isn't our first "secret" trip. Our first one was a postcard from Mickey inviting the kids. Then there was Captain Redbeard. We done Mission from Buzz Lightyear Spacerangers and of course Agent P and we need to stop Dr. Doofenshmirtz. This year we didn't want to hear the kids whining, BUT we didn't want to be too secretive as I am working full time and its hard to hide and work.
