Great advice

We always go over Thanksgiving and even though the crowds are insane its still very manageable. Rope drop and FP's are your friend and be flexible. We went last March and loved it. The crowds were much better than Thanksgiving and the weather is perfect

Yes Rope Drop IS your friend! We plan to get to each park at opening when its supposed to be crowded. We enjoy that park until lunch and then leave and do either the pool or go to Animal Kingdom which has a few "hiking trails". We're always mindful that this is our vacation and not to sweat the small stuff.

Unfortunately, DS broke his ankle Tuesday night so this trip will be a bit challenging. He goes to the orthopedic dr. tomorrow so we'll see what kind of cast or brace or whatever he gets.

I know we'll still have a blast though!

Just noticed on MDE that TL refurb is extended a week through March 19. We had scheduled 3 days there. Looks like we'll be headed to BB.

Yeah its always refurbing during Spring Break, it seems- which is the worse time to close it, IMHOP since all the Spring Breakers will be there.
Ive taken the kids to WDW 3 times (including this upcoming trip) and the first time was during the summer break and TL was open. We LOVED TL so much we went there two days and never made it to BB. The next trip we went during Spring break (which is two weeks in March over here in Texas) and TL was closed- to our disappointment - so we had no choice but to give BB a try. Now this trip we are going March 5-12 and TL is once again down for refurb so its back to BB.

BB is OK but we just like TL so much better. Its bigger, the wave pool is bigger, Shark Reef is cool, plus the overall themeing of a tropical beach gives it a more relaxing ambiance.


I'm not going back to WDW for a while after this trip- I want to wait until Star Wars and Avatar lands are completely finished, but I'm going to be patient this time and wait until Summer so we can do TL again lol.

We're going March 5-12. Today is Monday, February 29 so just gotta make it through the week and we fly outta here Friday night
