I am SOOO Excited to be counting down to our BIG Trip! We will b there MArch 3- 11th with our DD(9) and DS(5). DH and I are keeping it a complete secret which the kids will find out the week of at my DD's Birthday party and so we are having to sneak around and make plans and it is sooo exciting!

Disney changed some free dining dates yesterday! March 3rd is now included, which is the first night of our trip. I went ahead today and applied FD to our ressie. Saved $932. Other families traveling did the same. Still hoping for a room discount as anything 25% or higher should be a better savings.

We'll be there the same time. We arrive the 4th and leave the 10th though. Where are you staying?

My DS will also be 5. I was going to keep it a secret but my mom who is going with us spilled the beans the other day. I wasn't going to tell him till closer so he wouldn't drive me crazy.

We've been without power since Saturday when Hurricane Irene blew through our neighborhood. It's supposed to be connected by 6pm today, but I'll believe it when I see it.

However...thinking of Disney will make me smile!

Last week we booked March 25-30 at the CBR with a standard view and free dining. Its me, DW and DS3. It will be his 2nd visit to the World. Also traveling with friends who are taking their DD3 down for their first visit!

We are booked for 3/7th - 3/16th at AKL. Our first time at that resort, I've always wanted to try it.

I was on here hoping for some scoop on the hours - since they are not on WDW's website yet. I saw the travel agent calendar via another thread - and am hoping WDW changes the hours from that. In looking at March 2011 MK was often open much later than that calendar has for March 2012. Regardless, we'll make the best of the crowds, weather, and hours available. Figure I either need to pay someone to watch the kids while school was out, or take them somewhere. This seemed a great option - and the kids liked it too. LOL

We're staying off-site, so we're only making 2 reservations. One at Chef Mickey's for a Character Breakfast, and one for the Pirate League. My youngest wants to have a pirate makeover.

Well, just got the "official" dates for DD's school trip, and now it's not 'til April! I have to wait a whole MONTH longer??? Oh, well. I guess now I'll have to look for an April thread instead. Hope you all enjoy your vacations!!

We are booking at TS each day of our stay around lunch to help us "slow down" for our kids- Hoping for CRT, Chef Mickey's, Tusker House, Mama Melrosa, 1900 Park Fare, Coral Reef, and Crystal Palace- here's to hoping!!
