They did state a couple months ago that using shortkeys (or like program) as ok to use for general chat as long as you don't use it to flood the chat.
Especially in use of games when you have to repeat the same things over and over again. They did state that they don't want it used for entering codes.

I'd have to find the thread that it was copied to (don't have the time right now).

I agree with the other people who have stated that it's a "Real bad idea" to use any macro / auto-typing program with VMK.

Yes, you could probably get away with it, if you were "careful" enough.

Yes, if you're caught, you'll likely get banned. On the VMK home page, they _used_ to say it was OK for people running game rooms to use macro programs, but they've taken that out, and now simply say that you can get banned for using that type of utility for any reason.

And, yes Patchy, there are plenty of macro utilities for the Mac as well. As I said, I'd recommend NOT using them for VMK, but a few that are out there for the Mac include QuicKeys, TypeNoMo, and iKey, each with different capabilities. I'm sure there are lots more.

Did I mention that I wouldn't recommend using these programs for VMK? And that if you are caught, you'll get banned?

To warn the mac users, it is not a mac program. Unless you have the new intel and downloaded window xp on it, and booted up that way then go right ahead..... but who wants windows Unless there is a mac program out there... Hey be do you know of one?

I use ShortKeys Lite to run my games. I would go insane if I had to type
the same stuff over and over again. I do remember seeing that they tend
to overlook the use when you're running a game, and yes, I noticed they
removed that, as well.

I'm probably on borrowed time if they decide they don't want me to use
ShortKeys to run my game.

ok, ok... well it quite isn't fair to player game host and leaders if staff is allowed to do which would mean they be breaking there own rules. I would see no problem, unless you were using it for taken and stuff like that.

brain did ask bella and she said it was ok, but who knows brain could be lying, heck he didn't invite us to disney world....jerk!
