Good grief! Watching the addictive hit show “Lost” is an emotional roller coaster.

E! Online is reporting that a MAJOR character death is coming this season. This is in addition to earlier internet rumors that a less major character would be leaving the show.

Collect yourselves, then read on if you want to know more….


From E!’s Watch with Kristin:

Here’s what I can tell you about this death:

• A current series regular is getting killed before the end of Season 5.

• The character who will die is someone who is much-loved by many of you fans.

• This is a real leaving-the-show death, à la Shannon or Charlie, not a quick-fix time-travel death like Jeremy Bentham/John Locke.

• The character getting killed off is NOT Evie’s character Kate Austen.

That’s right, gang, there is at least one person we know it ISN’T. Despite the report earlier this month that Evangeline Lilly was looking to move on, Kate is not the character getting the axe.

The insider does claim the news caught the actor by surprise.

“Unfortunately, [he or she] found out after the script treatments were sent out to some of the crew on the set,” a source tells Dos Santos. “So it wasn’t the best timing.”

“Lost” is no stranger to loss, and as Charlotte reminded us during her own demise, “This place is death!”

I still haven’t fully recovered from Charlie (Dominic Monaghan) dying and the disappearance of Claire (Emilie de Ravin), but it looks like the Kill List is growing whether we like it or not.

Let the anxiety-ridden speculation begin, “Lost” fans!

Anyways, I'm not so sure it's a spoiler, this has happened every season has it not? They always claim the same thing and sometimes it's really not a big deal. I'm being careful to not say anything spoilerish for those who didn't highlight the text.

I know we've discussed this before but I just can't figure out the relationship between Horace/Olivia, and Horace/Amy. Did he have two wives? Maybe he divorced Olivia then married Amy? Or maybe he is a bigot?

Roger Linus carries his newborn baby and his wife, Emily, who has just given birth and is dying, to the closest road and flags down a passing car. Horace and Olivia Goodspeed stop and offer to take them into town when Emily tells Roger to name the baby Benjamin, and then she dies.​

So we know they have the same last name? Could be brother/sister?

And she was Ben's teacher later so we know she was still on the island probably after Amy had her baby?

I think they might be brother/sister. Or possibly, Horace was once married to Olivia and she died or somethin'...?

I started to read it and stopped immediatly when I saw the 3rd line! I like being surprised...though the temptation with this show is SO HIGH to just find out all the details!

Well, someone updated lostpedia. It now shows that on the enhanced episode of "Cabin Fever"(season 4, episode 11), one of the pop ups identified Olivia as Horace's wife. And she is shown wearing a wedding ring in the school room episode. Maybe the Dharma Initiative are polygamists??? One thing is for sure, according to Damon and Carlton(creators), Olivia and Horace play a significant part in the "future" game plan for Lost. So, we haven't seen the end of their story yet and will hopefully have an answer soon.

I find it hard to believe that no one from Lost would be looking over or checking the facts on the pop ups. I missed the one this week. Did we find out what kind of Egyptian statue it was?

WHAT! First I was told that Lostpedia wasn't "fact" now the pop-ups aren't gospel either? What gives?

Here are all the possibilities on this one. Please feel free to add if I omitted anything:

1. Horace and Olivia get divorced and he re-marries Amy
2. Horace and Olivia were never married (brother and sister or just friends)
3. The actress that plays Olivia couldn't come back and they cast Amy hoping we would forget what Olivia looked like
4. They are polygymist-Horace is married to both Olivia and Amy (remember they had the Boone-Shannon romantic step-brother/sister fling so its not too weird for LOST)
5. It means nothing and the writers are trying to distract us from something
