I think it's Sawyer's baby Momma. I think that's what Sawyer whispered to Kate on the helicopter before he jumped out. "Tell my baby Momma I'm sorry and there is cash for her if she will go look for it".

Baby Momma is either touched or pissed. Baby Momma finds out what plane Kate is getting on and books her own flight with or without the baby and ends up on the island.

How great would it be if Kate is racing to find Sawyer and they have this heartfelt reunion then there are these "hostiles" with burlap sacs over their heads and when revealed, one of them is baby Momma?

That makes the Jack/Kate/Sawyer/Juliette love triangle/square into a hexegon. Or is it a pentegon? Upside down pentegons are evil right?

But it has been 3 years since Kate saw Sawyer! So, that was what I thought he meant by that.

That is what I thought too - Sawyer being nervous that Kate got over him in those 3 years.

But, I still think the gal under the sack *might* be Baby Momma. Or maybe someone else he conned at some point that we don't know about?

Maybe Claire's Aunt Lindsay was someone he has a past with?

Ellie was the gal that took Daniel out to the nuclear warhead at gunpoint. She's on the island in the 70's, and Daniel commented that she looks familiar.

I'm going with the theory that it is Sawyer's 'baby momma' (lol), or someone we haven't met yet.

Kate's hair would be too dark, IMO. The bag girl had light brown hair.

Now that that is all cleared up. I noticed on the main character page it has Ben and Locke listed as "on the island in present time". The other losties are on the island in the 70's. I guess that clears up some of the discussion from a few pages back on this thread.

If you go to the supporting character page it lists Aaron as "missing/unknown". I thought he was left behind for sure. I guess we don't really know

Through one of the Lost sites I frequent I found this link to a guy who was working on his graduate degree in Communications and chose to do a study on Lost fans that participated in online communities devoted to Lost. While the study was no done strictly on a random basis because he solicited those who where interested in participating and did not take a true random sampling the results are not strictly representative but they are none the less interesting. Take a look as I thought the idea was pretty interesting in general.


Oh yeah and whopee Lost is on tonight. It is a major reason that I make it through the week happier because it comes on mid week and gives me something to look forward to. Although my church choir director is not to happy because I have been skipping choir practice since January 21 when the new season started.

I love how Sawyer took up the 'leader' role. Did anyone notice how hot he looked tonight? Man, those big blue eyes and dimples can make a girl go crazy!

I thought it was pretty good, although I wish they had shown more of what happened to Daniel. I almost cried when he saw little Charlotte go by.

I pretty much knew Juliet & Sawyer would pair up, so that's not so shocking. Honestly, I hope he doesn't go running back to Kate. I hope his speech about '3 years being long enough to get over someone' was true.

Is Horace the same actor as way back when? He seemed different.

Great episode, I was smiling the entire time. Mostly I loved it because it was plain & simple, I don't have a million new questions or things to obsess over. Which is good since it's going to be another 2 weeks!

I agree. Honestly, Sawyer and Kate only knew each other for a grand total of 101 days. I don't think it would take him that long to get over her. And I'm content(and insanely jealous)with a Juliet/Sawyer love match. And the boy cleans up nice. Nice new glasses and clean, combed hair. Would have liked a shirtless shot though.

I know! What's up with him having shirts on all the time? Even when he got out of bed he had a shirt on.

OH, and I have to admit I was wrong. I had a theory that although time in the real world had passed in 3 years, that it was only a couple days in island time. That's alright though. I really love how Sawyer has influence in the Dharma and a great relationship with Juliet. They seemed super happy, & I'm over the Sawyer/Kate thing.

Horace Godspeed - how did he show up previously? I cannot recall but do remember the name.

Now we know why The Others always knew the names of the Losties during Season 1/2. Richard knows several of them from the past! Crazy...

When The Others, led by Ben, took captive some of the Losties (Michael helped with this so he and Walt could go free), they took this exact group right?

I really want to go watch previous seasons now! I want to see their reactions when they see Richard for the first time, see what they think of the houses, etc.

I cracked up when Sawyer called Richard "your friend with the eyeliner" too!

I like Sawyer/Juliette - I hope Sawyer doesn't go back on his speech to Horace. One thing in it I found interesting was Sawyer said, "and she's never coming back." Like he had given up hope that Locke was really bringing them back...
