Well I guess it doesn't matter, as I'm not going to be able to have Flora on our trip anyway. This leaves a larger gap of time to mail her to the next person.

I have a toddler and was making my packing list and am afraid it's going to be too much stuff to lug around, watch DS and worry about losing Flora. I'll have to wait until DS gets a little older. Good luck with the pass offs of the crocs.

Poor Fritzie

Well I vote for face to face hand offs and mailed crocs.

I know when I had Fauna the person after me wasn't supposed to arrive for 4 days after me so I brought her home and sent her the day before they were supposed to arrive. I'm pretty sure it worked out fine because I saw Fauna in new pics from people after me.

Didn't someone say that the CMs told them they only hold packages for 5 days or something? That might be the problem with the missing crocs. LoriS is a DISer who's also a CM at the Boardwalk who has offered her services, maybe someone can PM her.

Ok, so I spoke with a very nice CM by the name of Jan today in efforts to locate our missing Fritzie. Apparently, mitushib did pick up the package with Fritzie in it, but she never passed it on. I've PM'd her a few days ago with no response. Perhaps she is holding him hostage for a Lapu?

I also tried to purchase a new croc today, but came home empty handed. Who knew finding a stuffed croc in Southern California would be so difficult?? I did find a lime Dolphin, a lime turtle, a lime frog, a lime platapus, and a lime lobster.

So until I or someone else finds a replacement for Fritzie, his list be on hold. So sorry everyone!

I'll make another run out tonight and look. If I find one I'll bring it with me and give it to msgrimm23 at the grand croc gathering On a side note, I checked all of my kids stuffed toys. They must have every animal there is, other than a croc.

Well, no luck on my search tonight. I went to a mall, toys r us and target, but no luck.

There are some good ones on the link that clombardi posted, but since I'm leaving Friday, I wouldn't be able to get it delivered before I leave. I'm not sure when msgrimm23, who was supposed to have Fritzie next, leaves but I know she is getting to WDW on July 3rd. So maybe she can order it and have it in time for the croc meet? I'll help cover some of the cost

Not a bad idea. We aren't scheduled to go to AK until the 5th, but I can make a special trip over during one of our afternoon rest breaks and check it out, so that we can try and have one for the Croc Reunion (We also have Rain Forest Cafe here in town that I may be able to check out tomorrow. I doubt I'll have time, but we'll see.) Anyway, I looked at their website and one of their characters is a croc named Nile, so hopefully they'll have it. The question is, if I do find one, do we keep the name as Nile, or do we change it to something that starts with an F, like all of the others? And do the crocs have a journal and bag that go with them? I thought that I read about them having those things.

I'm going to PM msgrimm23 and let her know what the plan is. If she manages to find one before my trip to the Rain Forest, then we'll use hers


Edit: I just saw that there is a Rain Forest Cafe at Down Town Disney. If that is true, then I'll be able to look this Saturday night. one day sooner!

I thought Floyd was on standby for croc duty ? He is ready to go and will be mailed if requested. I would just have to make him a tag first. The only thing is he's larger than the other crocs being used. He's about 10 inches tall. I noticed on the web site posted before that they have a croc with the magnetic feet for 6.95, Maybe one of those could be ordered and shipped to the next person going. Just let me know if Floyd is needed. His picture is below.

i went on ty's website and they have a croc named chomps. im going to go to my local ty store to see if they have him. his is under the pluffies if ya want to take a look
