The Official Lime Lovin' Croc Exchange

Fauna Focker's Big Adventure! July 1st - 7th, with DisneyBee and family at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

Fauna had a great time with us, and we were honored that she chose to tag along with us. We took tons of pictures of her, and I'll try to post more later. We found Fauna to be an independent sort of croc and at any given moment she would strike out on her own and be gone. We kept her on her "leash" for most of the trip for fear of her wandering off with another, perhaps more exciting, family.

The photos below are in no particular order - we took her along to MK, AK, MGM and Epcot. She stayed behind when we went to Blizzard Beach with the excuse of a headache, but we know she snuck out to watch cartoons and have snacks in the lounge.

Fauna enjoys the view from her balcony on the 4th floor.

Fauna spent an astounding amount of time watching cartoons in the Kilimanjaro Club lounge.

Fauna enjoyed the breakfast offerings more than anything.

She always had a hard time deciding what to eat!

Faunachecksoutfoodintheclub.jpg

She just chose a bit of everything when she couldn't decide.

Fauna used more than her fair share of minutes on my phone calling her friends to talk about her trip.

Fauna played in the elevator and I was afraid we'd be asked to leave if she didn't stop!

Fauna was concerned that there were no crocs on the Savannah, but we assured her she'd see some on the safari at Animal Kingdom.

Fauna thought riding on my son's shoulder was the way to go.

Fauna was an independent sort of croc, and she always insisted on having her own seat on the bus. She was quite put out if she didn't get her own way! Here she wears her Mickey Ears on the way to Magic Kingdom.

Fauna insisted on having a Goofy hat, and she also demanded a spritzer/fan of her own. Of course I had to carry it around all day and keep her cool!

hotfauna.jpg

Fauna ordered fries whenever she could - if she couldn't have her own, she would be after someone else's!

Faunawantsthatfry.jpg

Fauna said she wanted to swim, but I think she was really after the coins in the bottom so we didn't let her go in. She pouted, but got over it quickly when we promised her a Mickey ice cream bar.

Fauna enjoyed the flora at MGM and insisted on a having her photo taken. She thought the flowers would look lovely in the background.

More pictures to follow if you can stand it! ....:thumbsup2

More fabulous Fauna Focker photos!

Fauna wanted to know how she could ride on the boat with Mickey and Minnie at Animal Kingdom. We told her the only way was to toss her out there and she decided she'd rather just stay with us.

Fauna wanted to ride Expedition Everest, but after spying on it for a few minutes she thought better of it and asked to go on the safari to look for crocs.

Fauna dined at the San Angel Inn in Mexico one night and was not overly impressed with the food. We told her it was much better in past years.

Fauna was happy to have pals in the room to hang with and insisted on a group photo.

Fauna loves her Goofy hat!

Fauna kept darting all over the place while we waited in line at POC. She was excited to see Capt' Jack Sparrow!

Fauna was on the dining plan so she had dessert everywhere we went. Here she's going to enjoy her chocolate tart at the Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater at MGM. It was delicious!

She decided to watch Illuminations from atop Evan's head. The view was much better. (He was less than thrilled about this idea!)

Fauna said she loved the Great Movie Ride at MGM so we made a special trip there just for her. She was quite excited about the displays she saw while waiting in line.

Fauna's big moment came when she got together with her Focker Crocker pals at Epcot on July 3rd. Sadly, we were short one croc, but it was all good fun anyhow! (from right to left: DisneyDude, MouseAddicts, DisneyBee(me), and MsGrimm23)

All in all, Fauna was a great croc and we were happy to have her with us.

Dreamn Disney, I am actually arriving 9/1. We are going to be at MK on 9/2 early for breakfast at CP. We will go swimming and take a nap in the late afternoon and meeting up with my neice. Then we will be back at MK for EMH. Will you be at MK at all that day?

9/1 is our free day and all I have planned is a MGM breakfast and an Illuminations dinner.
9/2 is our Epcot day and we will be leaving for a dinner in Orlando at about 4pm
I could meet you someplace on 9/1 a lot easier then 9/2. I am with a 3 yo and can't go near MK if I am not going in:rotfl2: . Aren't you at the BC I would love to meet you there and get some gelato(sp).

What are your "last day in Disney" plans? Just asking 'cause I am trying to decide how I want our last day at Disney to be.

Our last day will be spent from opening to closing at my very favorite park, Epcot. I made up a touring plan for "Drinks 'Round the World (Showcase)". Basically we're going to drink ourselves to oblivion and then have dinner with the Bellydance and S'late. Should be an interesting meal, at the very least! :lmao:
I tried for a Cruise, but actually could only score us one on our 4th day. :confused3
We leave the next morning at around 11am ish on ME back to MCO then AAAAAALLLLLLL the way back to LAX.:guilty: I'm sad already.

Hmmm, so you're gonna be all liquored up, eh?

Hi Disney Bee! Glad you got Fauna and had a great time with her. Great Job with you report and geat pictures. You look like you had as much fun with her as we did!

I don't know what time we will get there on 9/1. We are staying at All Star Music 9/1-9/4. 9/4 we're moving over to BCV. Are you not doing Magical Beginnings with your 3yr old? (trying to tempt you over to MK). We did not do it last year and regret it. On our last day, we were told all about the fun and hated that we missed it. Sunday morning they are open an hour early just for preschoolers and they get play time with characters.

Denise - the hat and ears are Mr. Potato Head things. They fit nicely, but they have that "prong" inside them that you stick into Mr. Potato Head. I wish I had been able to cut that off, but didn't have anything strong enough to do it with.

There were lots of other little hat type things for Mr. PH that would work for the crocs. They were 2.00 each at one of the shops at MGM, but I think you can get that Mr. PH stuff at, at least, one shop in each park.

Great Pictuers Disney Bee. Did you make the card and bag, or does Fauna usually travel in the bag? Just wondering if I should bring stuff. I'm so excited! The name of the DISer on the bag that you dropped Fauna off for at Poly, is the wonderful DISer who will be dropping her off for me! Now I really feel like we're close!!! I'm so excited!

KT - yes, I did make the bag. I had no idea what she was being passed around in and wanted to be prepared. I sealed the bag before I dropped it at the desk so nothing would fall out. I will say that if anyone adds anything else to Fauna's "loot" she'll need a larger traveling case. She has her 5 x 7 journal, pen, lei, grass skirt, a Disney lanyard, Mickey Ears, Goofy hat, and leash (focker lanyard.) I think she's the only croc left who has her journal. We wrote a little in it, but really didn't have time to write a lot. Be sure to put your name and dates in the front. I didn't even see that part 'til my son pointed it out to me.

Here's something else you might consider. Her black eyes are rubbing off. I don't know if you can take something along to repair them or not. Not sure if a black marker would do the trick or not.

Good luck!

Cool, I'll bring a black sharpie, and a paint pen, just in case. Also, I'll try to get a green bag here, that way I don't have to pay triple $ there for one. Thanks for the tips, I wasn't sure how it was working!
I'm glad to see she behaved for you. It does seem she is used to getting her way though, we'll see what the DDs think of that!:rotfl: :rotfl:

We are doing the Magical Beginnings on 8/29. I will PM you.

Hmmm, so you're gonna be all liquored up, eh?

Well, I wouldn't say that.... uhhhh... exactly. :rolleyes1 All I know is I'm having a beautiful 'rita, a glass of French bubbly, a German beer, a shot of Saki and a nice smooth Chianti. Now remember, that's all during a 12 hour period, so I think I should still be standing at Marrakesh. :scratchin::lmao:

Thanks DLM! No worries... I'm sure I'll find something suitable to contribute on 8/25 in place of a Croc ;)

Hey Disneymoma. I see on the list the person before me has Fauna for 10 days and then there is a 2 day gap before I get her. Is it possible to fit someone in between us and close that gap ?? I am arriving sometime on 8-27(driving). We will be spending the entire day 8-28 in MK (Good handoff place). Maybe you could add a person for say 8-23 to 8-28 then the gap will be gone. Obviously with a 2 day gap Fauna will have to be left somewhere increasing the chance of loss. If this can't be done for some reason then just remove me from the list. I signed up to give my DD a little fun. But it's not worth the trouble if I have to spend 2 days trying to recieve and deliver the croc. Thanks

Sorry Flametamr :flower3: - I bowed out and that's what left the two day gap. I'm with you - I don't want to spend my vacation (which is only 3 days to start) tracking down a missing Croc.

Great photos, I love the little hats especially the ears so cute, you were very inventive with the poses :goodvibes

Well, unless someone volunteers to take those 2 day, there's really nothing I can do about it, sorry.
As long as you contact the person before you and that person agrees to leave your CROC for you at your resort. The CROC should be there. We just have to hope for the best.
It's all V's fault. :rotfl:

ETA: If you like, I can PM IMALOVNDISNEY and see is she/he can leave the CROC with me and then I'll hang on to him until you arrive, then you and I can meet or I can leave him at POR, since I'll be at POFQ. What do you think?
