Fauna Focker's Big Adventure! July 1st - 7th, with DisneyBee and family at Animal Kingdom Lodge.
Fauna had a great time with us, and we were honored that she chose to tag along with us. We took tons of pictures of her, and I'll try to post more later. We found Fauna to be an independent sort of croc and at any given moment she would strike out on her own and be gone. We kept her on her "leash" for most of the trip for fear of her wandering off with another, perhaps more exciting, family.
The photos below are in no particular order - we took her along to MK, AK, MGM and Epcot. She stayed behind when we went to Blizzard Beach with the excuse of a headache, but we know she snuck out to watch cartoons and have snacks in the lounge.
Fauna enjoys the view from her balcony on the 4th floor.
Fauna spent an astounding amount of time watching cartoons in the Kilimanjaro Club lounge.
Fauna enjoyed the breakfast offerings more than anything.
She always had a hard time deciding what to eat!
She just chose a bit of everything when she couldn't decide.
Fauna used more than her fair share of minutes on my phone calling her friends to talk about her trip.
Fauna played in the elevator and I was afraid we'd be asked to leave if she didn't stop!
Fauna was concerned that there were no crocs on the Savannah, but we assured her she'd see some on the safari at Animal Kingdom.
Fauna thought riding on my son's shoulder was the way to go.
Fauna arriving in our room.
Fauna checks out the towel-art Mickey.
Fauna looking for crocs on the safari at Animal Kingdom.
Fauna was an independent sort of croc, and she always insisted on having her own seat on the bus. She was quite put out if she didn't get her own way! Here she wears her Mickey Ears on the way to Magic Kingdom.
Fauna insisted on having a Goofy hat, and she also demanded a spritzer/fan of her own. Of course I had to carry it around all day and keep her cool!
Fauna ordered fries whenever she could - if she couldn't have her own, she would be after someone else's!
Fauna said she wanted to swim, but I think she was really after the coins in the bottom so we didn't let her go in. She pouted, but got over it quickly when we promised her a Mickey ice cream bar.
Fauna enjoyed the flora at MGM and insisted on a having her photo taken. She thought the flowers would look lovely in the background.
More pictures to follow if you can stand it! ....
