Okay, I just got off the phone with Sarah and All Star Music is trying to find Felicia. I gave very specific info about where it was to be delivered - even wrote it right on the bag. Sarah said they have been looking for Felicia for ½ hour now. I feel bad that it's cutting into Sarah's last day of vacation.

Disney Dude - Sarah said she doesn't know your real name so she can't have it forwarded to you if they find it. She said she will try to call you but if you could give me your name, I may be able help out. Thanks.

If you don't mind, take him home with you and then ship him back to Lilo's mom a few days before her trip dates.

I think in light of the missing crocs and lack of dependable staff at Disney maybe we need to impliment some rules for fostering. We should require that a valid email and cell number be given to Disneymoma and the next person on the list. You should also provide the next person your name and resort info. You should agree to pay shipping if there is a gap on the list after you. We should also strongly suggest direct hand offs. If you request a croc be left at or sent to a resort then you should be the one to go look for it. Common sense tells you the other person has probably gone home already.

Maybe we should also get a reciept from the CM if a package is left at a resort. ( Is this possible? )

Well, I've had no luck finding Felicia. I've checked with the front desk, and lost and found at POR, where Felicia was sent from, and ASMu, where she was sent to. I've checked every day for the last 3 days, but there is no sign of her. The only other option is to check Disney's central lost and found. I'm not sure if any checked there in the past for the other missing croc,(freddie?), but they may be there.

I'm going to call the next person on the list and let her know that I won't have a croc to hand over.

Since poor Felicia von Focker Crocker has gone MIA, I thought I would post the last pictures of her...

Here she was anxiously awaiting to get inside Port Orleans Riverside so she could check out the room...

Once in the room she felt like hanging out on the lamps...

But she soon bored with the room and went outside to see the lovely bayou...

THis is terrible about all the lost crocs. I have to say it is great when you can do the hand off in person, but unfortunately that isn't always feasible. I do think that shipping them to the next resort is not a good idea, that seems to be the way most are getting lost. If an in person hand off is not doable how about bringing the croc and leaving it with the staff at the next hotel. This is how I got Fritz, Mickeysfan personally left it at the front desk with a note that if not picked to call her cell #.

What page has the new list?? The person after me won't be taking fauna anymore, so I need to communicate with whoever is after them.


I agree shipping it to the resort isn't a good idea. In my case, there isn't enough time before me to mail it, so the person before me volunteered to bring it to the front desk at WL for me. I was going to hand deliver her after I'm done, however I need to see if anyone else was adding in, or wants her during that time since we're missing some others. . . Otherwise, I'll gladly mail her when we return home!

I think everyone has kind of thrown out their opinions on the CROC exchange and what is the best method of exchange. I'm going to throw these new guidelines out there open for discussion.

Please remember, some people have spent their own money to purchase these mascots and I feel that some people don't understand that not keeping their end of the deal and losing our mascots is just not cool. I understand sometimes things happen and exchanges aren't possible, but remember others are depending on you.

Now the guidelines: (always open for negotiation)

1. Croc exchanges are hand to hand. If you cannot arrange a meeting time/place, the person with the CROC should deliver to the next hosts resort. Unless the next person is staying off-site, then hand to hand should be the only means of exchange.
2. Please exchange "real" world names, resorts and cell phone numbers.
3. If there is a gap >5 days, please take the CROC home with you and then mail back the package to the next hosts resort.
4. Try to get the host after next hosts name, resort and cell phone, incase you can't make contact with the next host, that person can be skipped and you can give it to the next person, KWIM?
5. Remember, this is supposed to be F-U-N!!! If you think it might be too much to commit to, don't be afraid to remove yourself from the list.

I feel totally bad about what happened to Felicia. Sarah and I did have a somewhat scheduled meet in MGM to make an official hand off but my family's plans fell through and we never got back to MGM. Sarah and I played phone tag about 7 times trying to come up with another time to meet but it never panned out so I THOUGHT that I could rely in POR guest services to deliver to ASMu, but apparently that was not the case.

I hope no one thinks I just didn't care that it never got to the next person. There wasn't much I could do once I handed it off at POR as we were leaving that day.

I think the guidelines that DLM posted sound very good. And might I suggest that when you are planning an in-person hand-off that it is not the day before or on the day of your departure just in case the hand-off falls through. That way you may have time to reschedule something else. In my case, it didn't happen though...
