I am pretty new to the "dis", so I have been reading and reading ,reading, well you get the picture. I thought it would be good to do the focker thing, got my home depot mickey heads. Got my lime shirts. So anyway this afternoon I turn to DH and say if someone at WDW did this to you ( did the sign) what would you think? He sorta stare at me and said " thats from that the movie "meet the fockers". I started laughing and told him "you were just focked". He thought it was cute.
I thought I would share that.

I think we should continue the croc exchange. We will just have to come up with another name for the group salute. We can still use the hand gesture, but change the name to maybe the Lime Look or Group Salute or DISsertation (DH's suggestion).

Maybe we should change the name but we will still know what we mean, what about the Lanyards? And had we better change our siggies to remove any of the words? As has been said though none of us were meaning to be rude I for one never ever say the rude version of the meet the parents surname but that's because I'm a good girl

A few of us are meeting in the Perimeter Mall area for lunch on April 20. T-i-double-g-err, mouseadddicts, Miz Diz, and I would like to invite others. I figure as long as we have an idea of numbers a week out, I should be able to make reservations somewhere.

It will be easy to find us. I will be the one wearing the lime green crocks and my extra special lime greeen DIS shirt.

ABOUT THE WATCHER LIST...
Sorry to report, it's really, totally, compeltely gone. As in, the only place I had it was on the thread, so I no longer have a record. I'll try contacting a moderator to see if I can somehow get and retrieve the list, but, not knowing the intricacies of how these boards work, it might not be possible.

For the record, I'm not at all surprised that it was closed. No judgement on my part - I had as good a time as anyone! - but as the play on words became more and more adult, it was bound to become inappropriate according to the DIS rules.

It doesn't sound like there's any problem with the movie, the Croc exchange, or the Look - we just need to leave "the word" alone. So maybe we can come up with something new to call ourselves within the threads and keep the you-know-whating to our PM's. Are you all in with me?!

I guess the good new is they left this thread alone. It think the crocker watchers is a really sweet idea. I was up late last night reading the thread and when I got to the end I saw that it was moved and the other links were gone.

Wow, I spent 1/2 day away from the boards (although, really spent a good amount a time pasting LGMH to a "Happy Easter" poster to decorate our hotel room)---anyway, and my favorite threads have evaporated!
Did the poem vanish too? I should have saved stuff to another folder. I really enjoyed reading these after taking the kids to school.
Are we still wearing lanyards?

WOW!!Im not really surprised as it was walking a "fine line"(and I am guilty myself),but I cant believe it is totally deleted, gone,byebye,no more.

Don't know if it will be possible, but I solemnly promise: if I am able to get it, I will immediately save it to disc so as to avoid any future potential loss! I'm so sorry - I should know better, having lost my entire senior thesis in high school when my boyfriend's computer crashed. Some people never learn.

If I do recover the list, I'll be happy to start a new thread, where the list can be updated on the first page, IF you all want to. Or, we can just leave it at the exchange and keep this thread alone. Opinions?

V, I think we should start a new thread...Actually I did last night and this AM, but didn't post cause I couldn't get my wording the way I wanted it and I wanted input from others. I think it needs to be worded so we have a way to identify DISers and welcome new DISers. I'm kinda stuck on giving the Lime Look. I don't know....just rambling.....
