The Official "Kudos to Me!" Thread

well idk if this thread has been made up yet, but i remember something like this going around for a while on some board.

basically, if anything awesome happened to you, or you accomplished a goal, just post on this thread and say "Kudos to me!"

well here goes mine:

today, i went to a tennis tournament. i was playing against the number 4 seated kid (which means he is the fourth best kid in the state that competes in this tournament.) so i was pretty much playing the best of the best, basically. and...i beat him! i was so excited. the match was so close, too. we had to go into 3 sets. he won the first set 4-6, then i won the next set 6-3, and i won the last set 7-5. it was the highlight of my entire tennis career. i played well, and it payed off.

i then went on to play the number 2 seat (the SECOND best kid in the state) and i lost in a close match (4-6, 3-6) but it didnt matter to me. i knew i was better than the fourth best kid in the state. so, Kudos to me! haha.

I've been in NYC the past few days, to see Rent, cause Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp are back. Friday night I went to see it, so that checked off one of my goals (see Rent on Broadway). Then, last night, my mom and I weren't really doing anything, so we went back to the theater to try to get lotto tickets. We didn't win, but we did get standing room only tickets for $20. We had a great view, and after the show I got out early enough to have my book signed by Anthony, my playbill signed by Adam, and I got a picture with Nicolette (played Maureen).

So, since I've had a major celeb crush on Adam since I first saw Rent, and Anthony is such an amazing and inspiring person, I've really wanted to meet them.

Two of my goals, checked off! (And I got some totally hot pictures of Adam, lmao )

I vacuumed, cleaned my birds cage (w/ food and water), took care of my dog, did dishes, read some of my HP book, and cleaned our dining room table.
