Whats the chance of Disney changing the park hours at MK to 8:00 the week of June 18-24. I'm trying to figure out fp. 2 years ago when we went during this week, mk opened at 8:00 both of our days there (not emh). It was so nice! The only thing I'm worried about is that we have an 8:00 bbb appointment on one of your days.

Miss you by a day, we are going to the SW dessert party on the 26th. It will be our first dessert party, so we are excited. I was originally going to do the Pirates and Pals cruise (we did it in 2013) but for some reason I decided not to spend the money on that again. Then I saw some threads about the SW dessert party and thought that would be a good use of that money.

We have done both and loved both - this trip we are only doing the dessert party as well - my DD6 loves the stormtroopers who make appearances throughout the party - and the treats are always fun! it's nice not to have to camp out for a spot early too - and cool off in the party for a bit before the fireworks

I should probably take a planning break but I feel an almost compulsive need to do something Disney related. Maybe I'll make some crafts. Mikey ears or something.

I spend copious time on the boards, read every bit of Disney info I can get my hands on, listen to Radio Harambe, fiddle with my FPs until they're all PERFECTLY aligned, and otherwise overly obsess.

Yes, I have a problem.

I order stuff and spend time on the boards and go on Character Locator and figure out when all the characters meet. Figure out what snacks and drinks I want and when to get them. I've been listening to Disney parks music on YouTube. Watch AccuWeather. Dream about Disney...lol.

Argh! They changed the times of Flights of Wonder. Now the first one is at 1:30. I swear this show is causing me so much stress!

It looks like they opened mk at 8:00 on several days during the week we are going the past couple of years. I would love an 8:00 opening, but I wish they wouldn't change hours after they've already posted. I need to decide if I want to keep our 8:00 bbb or try and change it to later in the day.

And they didn't announce the 8am openings until June 2nd! Very late to make adjustments in my opinion. But who knows what they'll do this year. It's anybody's guess!

The bad news? In reviewing the schedule, I noticed something awful. WHERE IS DUG?????? I absolutely adore Russell but he's ALONE on Discovery Island!!! Why would they get rid of Dug??????????????????????

Rafiki is still there, and I would imagine he'd be a bit difficult to remove since he's got his own area of the park. Then again, since they removed DUG, those heartless sadists are clearly capable of ANYTHING.
