We will be headed "home" June 2-10, 2017 to BLT. We go every year, but it never gets old.
Hiya I'm new here and we have our very first Disney holiday booked for June 3rd-17th 2017 staying at POFQ. Could you please add me here x x
They will most definitely change. As far as when; they may make some tweaks here and there but they won't (mostly) finalize until mid-May, and even then they can extend up to and even on the day of.I saw the June hours. I am assuming they will change, though, don't you think? Any ideas when they will typically be updated? I can't remember from our last trip.
BTW, my days have changed slightly. Off Property May 28-June 4, CBR June 4-8. So excited!!! Can't wait to start booking ADRs. We are not on the dining plan, so we only are going to do a couple, but we get to go to Ohana's for breakfast, and my youngest is a Stitch fanatic! He will be sooooo excited! This is a Christmas gift for them, so the surprise is already in the works.
Our ADR day is Monday. I'm actually making 10 for our 8 night stay, though one is BOG lunch and another is Beaches & Cream (is this considered QS or TS? We aren't on DDP so either is fine).Tomorrow is my ADR day! Woohoo! We had quite a few ADRs for our Thanksgiving trip but only making 6 for our 9 night trip this June since we will be in a 1 bdrm villa at AKV and in club level! We'll have quite a bit of down time at the hotel and pool.
I've been basing my park days off of last years hours and this years Gay Days. Trying to avoid the designated parks/crowds they have for certain days! However, after coming back from Thanksgiving crowds, I'm sure June will be no match!

We went this exact time last year so I'm planning using those hours as a guide, as well as touringplans somewhat.
I had a TA last year so I didn't actually book the ADRs last year but we are renting points this year so I'll be up and at 'em booking Monday. Took a half day off just so I can concentrate on getting it done with no interruptions.
What are your plans as far as park days and ADRs?
Great plans! We drive from GA so we will be doing a resort/DS afternoon/evening on our arrival day, too.View attachment 208844
Yes I'll be up at 4am (west coast) tomorrow, mainly in hopes of grabbing BOG dinner ADR.
So far my schedule looks like this...
Land early on the 2nd. Taking the red eye in so no plans this day besides the pool and grocery shopping!
3rd- AK rope drop. Stay until lunch time and then head back to hotel for pool time. Plus my bf's best friend who lives in Orlando got a club level room for one night so we'll be hanging out with him that night.
4th- HS rope drop. This is our least favorite park. Kids were ready to go after lunch when we were here thanksgiving week. So we are coming just to ride the big rides then head back for pool time.
5th- Epcot rope drop, Via Napoli ADR for lunch.
6th- MK rope drop. Plaza ADR for lunch and BOG for dinner.
7th- Pool during the day, Sanaa ADR for lunch, and going to AK at night.
8th- pool during the day, MK at night. My be and oldest son will probably go to a Marlins game this night while the rest of us go to MK.
9th- pool during the day, Epcot at night with a Le Cellier ADR
10th- rope drop MK, ohana ADR for dinner.
Fly home on the 11th.
We also want to squeeze in the Wild Safari Trek at AK on one of our pool days. Bf is a CM and he gets half off but can't book it until 2 weeks out. So I'm hoping there will be a day with open spots available on one of our pool days!
We went to Beaches and Cream over Thanksgivjng week just for the Kitchen Sink! So yummy!!
So exciting! Congrats on your upcoming nuptials!Hi
I'm back on the boards and wanted to check-in that my fiancé will be staying at AKV-CL 5/28-6/3/2017 as husband and wife. We get married 5/26/17 and start our honeymoon at the Most Magical Place on Earth followed by a Caribbean cruise!
I was last at WDW forever ago 6/2012 and last at AKV-CL 10/2011 CRAZY!!! My fiancé has never been to WDW, however, we did enjoy a DL trip this past May. He said "Now that I've seen DL, I have to see WDW!" Wish granted!
Can't wait to catch up with everyone and Disney news!
Booked everything we wanted this morning except Hollywood & Vine and Crystal Palace. Those don't seem bookable and I had heard about H&V not being loaded, but not CP, so I'm about to call in.
You are one of only two people that I have seen to get CP to show up. I really think its a glitch because I tried dates in EVERY single month and nothing worked. I even called in and the CM couldn't book anything either. I just need to keep looking.I weirdly had to switch from 2 people to 3 people to get Crystal Palace to show up before 8:45. Same with Garden Grill!
I booked our ADRs for the first half of our trip on Sunday! I had to call to book CRT (is that the norm?) so I booked the extras too. Our plan:
Fri 6/2- fly in, arrive at 4:30, hopefully to BLT by 6:00. Contempo Cafe for dinner and if we feel up to it- the Chip and Dale marshmallow thing. I LOVE that this is free and you don't have to pre-book. We were considering Pirates and Pals because it will feel 3 hours earlier- but if we all fall apart after travel.... I'd hate to have this pre-booked.
Sat 6/3- Epcot- San Angel Inn 12:30, hoping for a FEA around 2ish. If we can't get this FP for this day, we will cancel San Angel Inn.
Sun- MK- Chef Mickey's 7:00AM, BOG 4:30PM, we wanted the early dinner... in general, we like to tour until late afternoon/dinner time. If we find we need a mid day break, we will come back in time for this and then tour a few hours afterwards. My kids are early to bed- early to rise type people.
Mon- Off day. Kids are booked on the Pirate Cruise out of GF. Grand Floridian Cafe is booked for DH and myself. Then we will swim and finish the day at Disney Springs. I haven't booked anything here. I am open to suggestions. We were all gung ho about Trex, but my 6 year old has a really hard time with loud sounds and my 5 year old is pretty animal-phobic. It sounded like this might be a bad choice for us!
Tues- MK, hoping for EMM this day. CRT 1:00 lunch. Hoping EMM happens because that is why I picked 1:00 over 12:00. BBB is booked for 11:00 for DD.
Wednesday- Epcot- resort switch day- Simba's Clubhouse for the kids and Jiko for us at 5:30/6:00 respectively.
Thursday- AKL resort day, Sannaa dinner (need to book)
Friday- MK day, Boma dinner (need to book, may not keep) (maybe AK, debating the merits of EMH, which MK should have on Friday).
Saturday- AK day with EMH- see above, hoping for a Flame Tree ROL package for lunch
Sunday- AK morning (may switch to DHS with EMH), 5:00PM flight home
I am open to any feedback! We are not planning on going to DHS unless we feel like we don't want a second half day at either AK or Epcot.
Yes- we are coming from AZ! Our flight is at like 9AM. You are brave for doing the red eye!Since you mentioned it feeling 3 hrs earlier, I'm assuming your from somewhere out west. We are coming from CA. We are flying in on the red eye so I'm assuming it won't feel 3 hrs later. I doubt we'll sleep much on the plane!
