Webworm I got the code and coupon to work but my total is coming up to $377.44. This is still cheaper than I had previously found it. How did you come up with $329?

try putting SUNPROMO in the ID/CORP ID on alamo.

it took my minivan down by half. I also used ent. book coupon that saved another 30.00 for a toatal of 378.00 for 11 days

SUNPROMO still works .. at least it does for me. June 18-24, $242 (taxes/fees included) for a midsize SUV. Much better than the $400+ I was finding yesterday. would LOVE for it to go under $200 in the next 6 weeks!

We are going to be renting a van or SUV from June 25-July 3rd. Starting out at RDU. Cheapest I can find for van which is what we prefer is from Dollar using promo SW2358 for $390 plus tax. There are five of us going. 4 adults and 1 14yo. Can anyone find anything better?

The difference is probably your pickup and dropoff times if they are more than a 24hr period. I am using the default 9:00AM to 9:00AM for 24 hr period. Total is $354.43 including taxes less $25.00 ecoupon at checkout for $329.43.

I am trying to book with ALAMO using the sunpromo code and when I type it in I don't get the discount if I put that I am from Canada. If I say I live in the US it works. Is this a code used specifically for US residents or something? Thanks.

Just used the SUNPROMO code and it worked great. We had been getting prices of over $500 for a car and just got a Mid size SUV for 6/19-6/26(extra day) for $288 incl tax. Would love to save a bit more, but right now we are pretty happy.

Thanks, I actually already used the entertainment book codes and got an additional $30 to get down to $288. My problem is I have 8 days not just a week. Still have hope though.

Just tried Alamo with SUNPROMO for June 30 -July 7 and got "sold out of vehicles".


But I did just get intermediate for $278 total with X474200 and coupon MUWZ023. So I guess it will be $253. Not too bad. Is there anything I need to turn in at checkin for the $25 coupon? Has anyone had any problem using a debit card to pay for the rental at MCO at budget?

I booked a few weeks back with advice from this thread and got a good deal, I think: $582 for 6/5 - 6/19 with Budget X474200 and coupon code MUWZ023

I have never rented a vehicle before so I am sooooo thankful for this thread! (I am pretty clueless otherwise.) Forgive me if I should know this, but I am wondering if I need a paper coupon when I get to check in? Also, are there any better deals/coupons anyone thinks I should try? If so, how do I try without messing up the reservation I already have?

Wow! That really is a great rate. I nearly the exact rate through Alamo back about 3 months ago for my dates and they have only gone up! I highly recommend snagging this deal now as I haven't seen similar prices in quite awhile!

Thank you!!!! I just got $267 taxes in for a jeep grand cherokee (or similar) for June 7-13. The lowest I had found prior to that was a smaller suv for $20 more.

ANyone else with another code? It shows 199 a week for a minivan but I need a car 10 days. So it is 199 plus 90 for 3 days plus taxes and is 346?? I booked about 3 months ago for 216 for 10 days...i don't think I am going to beat that but was planning on it!! these rates are nuts....
