Did anyone else order the new Disney Vans? We got the Princess ones - DD4 insisted that she and I match! Now, they need to come in so that i can spend time breaking them in! Although I only really plan on wearing them on the plane and around the resort more than going in to the parks...

We saw them at the mall a couple weeks ago and my wife really wanted some but she already has shoes for Disney. She really only likes flip

Hello July Diser's

I am so happy everyone will be leaving for their favorite place very soon.. I will miss all of you and wish you all a Super Magical Time!!

My DD and I are regular July Disney goer's and this year we not be vacationing to Disney. My DD is in Korea having the time of her life and I am so happy for her..... She will not be back home until August 10th and will start school 2 days later...

Hello fellow Dis'ers! We are going (in 11 days!!!) June 30-July 13. We have never been to Walt Disney world before and are so excited. There are 10 of us going. My family- me, DH, twin 15 year old DS's, my mom and dad and my sister and her family (DH and DD 16,DD14). We have rented travel trailers and are staying at Fort Wilderness!! We are celebrating my 40th, our 20th anniversary and my moms's 60th bday! This is also our very first family vacation together where all of us have been together! Beyond excited but really nervous about the heat and humidity seeing as we are from the great white north!! We have been to Disneyland in July before but their heat is similar to ours. We have the opposite of humidity here!
Our plans are for 8 park days, 1 Universal day (man that place is expensive!) 1 day at Cape Canaveral, and one day outlet mall shopping- my teenage boys LOVE to shop and are buying their school clothes!!
I have ADR's at Hoop Dee Doo and Sci Fi. I have also booked a fishing excursion for my dad, DH and BIL.
Was thinking 2 days per park. This may be some and only trip for us so we want to get in as much as we can!

We are staying at Fort Wilderness! We are a camping family anyways and really wanted accommodations where we could cook to keep the cost of our vacation down. It's really expensive coming from Canada with the exchange rate as of late!! And the villas were just way out of our price range!
We were really excited to spend a 4th of July in the USA. We hear a lot about it up here and we thought it would be neat to go to an old fashioned 4th of July picnic or something but unfortunately we won't be able to. We are actually going to Universal that day. Because we are only doing 1 day there we also wanted to buy the express pass. The cost for the express pass was the cheapest on the 4th so we all voted to save money and go that day. I have read that they will be having special fireworks that night but I'm sure it won't be anything compared to Epcot or Magic Kingdom. What are your plans?

Totally forgot to come chime in over here. I have two trips in July!

July 3-5 at Shades of Green (should have been one night longer, but DH's work messed that up..)
- We are bringing 2 first timer friends along, should be a blast! This is my 2nd fourth at Disney.

July 13-18 super awesome splurge split stay trip!
July 13-16 AKL CL - July 16-18 CR Tower Club! We even have the DxDP on the second leg. Super excited! DH's first time onsite too!

Thanks IceSkatingPrincess! I Remember reading that somewhere! I think we will watch from the beach as that is not a MK day. That's the problem with having to book fastpasses so early. No room for spontaneously going just because. Oh well! I'm sure the beach will be great too especially since they pipe in the music!

I need to keep my excitement under wraps until Friday as my boys are writing provincial exams until then and don't want to distract them!! It will be hard though! I started packing this past weekend and it's my last week of work and I'm off for the summer!!! Wahooooooooo!!!!!

We are three weeks out exactly (I never updated my ticker when I added an earlier arrival day) and I feel like time is standing still.
