Today I was able to get an ADR for California Grill on July 4th!!!!!!!!!

A little late to the party...we will be visiting WDW July 23-27. I earned a free two-night trip with a MK special tour/Illuminations wine and dessert party, and a dinner at the American Pavilion. We are staying at the GF, and have decided to add two nights to our trip for a great price (we are coming from California, so it makes sense to us). I will also be adding three days of park tickets to the one they are giving us. I just found out last Monday that I earned the trip for sure. So in the last week, I have made all of our dining reservations (including BOG) and have spent a ton of time on Disboards (which I was already doing because we are going on the Wonder to Alaska next year). Now I have to wait until I get my confirmation number, so I can reserve all our FP+. In the last couple of days, we gained an early entry on our AK day, and today was the Frozen announcement. Lots of pixie dust!!

Happy Friday! Today is my last day of work and I have a TON of stuff to get done today. Dh is home today so he can take care of the home stuff. We plan to leave for Florida early in the morning. My DD is on pins and needles with excitement. It has been a long time since we have been home to see family members.

Totally last minute trip! Flying in the 2nd and staying two nights on the dark side (I've never seen the Harry Potter world!) and then spending the 4th at WL. I will be America bounding that day! (Red white and blue outfit!)

For BOG I tried all day, every day for six days, and on Sunday one popped up. I screamed and scared the dog. In this case, persistence paid off. I am going to have to do the same thing once I can schedule my FP+ because we aren't getting our confirmation until two weeks before the trip. I am dying a little inside having to wait. I have been to WDW three times before, but I have never stayed on site. We are leaving our daughters (16 and 18) at home, and they are less than happy. My 18 year old is at Disneyland right now, so I keep telling her she is at least getting her Disney fix. It isn't really working, oh well!

Good for you! I actually have a reservation (thanks to the July cancellation thread,) but it's at 4:45 and I'd like one a little later (I know, so NOT something to truly worry about ) I keep checking every day, though, just in case.

As for your FPs, don't worry! My sister JUST decided to join us for 2 days, and I was able to copy all of our FPs to her and the same times were still available for everything except Mine Train. There were a LOT of FPs still left for it, just not at the times we had booked already. (They were still available for almost every time slot after 3:00.) The only thing I think you might have a hard time getting would be Anna and Elsa if it was something you wanted.
