Do you guys know when we should receive our magic bands?

MDE should tell you how long left to customize. My group is at 65 days. They then process and ship. Originally they were overnighted. I think now they may come USPS Ground. Even still, you should have them in hand about three weeks prior to arrival.

DisneyMomFanatic- we are still visiting from 7/20-27 but we upgraded from POFQ to WL. Thanks!

Could you change our hotel on the first page? We are actually staying at GF SL instead of BCV - same dates, different resort - great deal! :-)

100 more days:cool1:

here are our new plans:
July 15th check in
July 16th A.K.
July 17th M.K.
July 18th off day
July 19th Epcot
July 20th D.H.S

We had to scale it back some.:sad1:

Hello :)

My kids (2 of them) and I are going to DW July 3-July 11. We are staying at Shades of Green. We have no solid plans (yet), but we will be going to all 4 parks in 4 days, with rests in between, somehow... We plan on Typhoon Lagoon (not included in our 4/4) and Sea World.

This is only our 2nd trip and our first one with a plan. Last one was in 2007 with NO plans, stayed at SOG, and it was fun, but I am too much of a planner and was totally stressed the whole time...

Down to 104 days!!!!!!

I am so excited about the new fast pass system plans! I just hope that they have it ready by the time we go....

Oh and I got new shoes in today! They are Saucony brand and so far I love them! They were super cheap on Amazon last week, plus I had a small credit so I got a really good deal on them. I'm going to wear them enough to break them in, but I want them to be my "Disney shoes" so I don't want to tear them up lol.

Also, I don't know where everyone is from.... But if you have a Brookshire's grocery store near you, you should REALLY go before Wednesday! They have an amazing deal right now. You buy a rack of baby ribs, and you get paper plates, aluminum foil, large can of beans, potato salad, and Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce free! You can only do it once during a transaction, but you can go back and buy more later. I went on Thursday and did one deal, spent $12 and some change, and went today again and spent $14 (the ribs are priced by the pound, that's why there's a price difference). I'm all about saving as much money as possible, everywhere I can so we have more to spend at Disney so I wanted to share!!!

That is awesome! I wish we had Brookshires nearby! I'm all about saving money. I'm using Disney as my excuse when the kids want something... "No, let's save our money for Disney." They are fine with it :D

I need to decide on shoes. I hate shoes! Seriously! I wear flip flops or some kind of sandals as much as I can. In the winter, I have a few pair of Merrell flats that I wear and some Tom's. I run and even those shoes I can't wear for more than a couple hours.... I think the shoes are my biggest concern right now. I did buy some Chacos and heard they take a few weeks to break in. I'm still deciding if I want to keep them.

So we've changed dates! Still WL CL, but we're there 7/5-7/11 now instead! :-)

Hi everyone! I'm still around, just haven't been on the boards for a while. We had our big competition last month between our school's student-run musical and two other large high schools' student-run musical. My students won!! All of the money raised went to the American Cancer Society, every adult there was volunteering. It was an amazing night, the kids had a very positive experience and all three schools were very respectful of each other, I'm so proud of my students for doing such a fantastic job!

This week I'm helping out with one of my school's theatre productions (doing hair and makeup). Friday is our last day of classes before spring break, but I'm working Saturday for the show and then I look forward to 10 beautiful days off with DH and the boys! I'm sure I'll be on here more during break! After break I'm getting ready to do hair and makeup for our big musical in early May. Then right after that show is through, I select my top leadership for next year's production of SING (the student-run musical competition I am in charge of). Busy, but all good things! Definitely looking forward to the WDW trip in July. May 21st I can make fastpass plus reservations, and I will be doing that for sure!

I am SO hoping Lion King opens up again before our trip... :-/ a CM who was part of the show before it ended seemed to think it would be opening up earlier in the summer??
