Got up, got dressed, and on the computer just before 6:00am.
By 6:15, I had made all 8 reservations, and got all the times I was was looking for :good vibes

I was surprised how easy MDE was to use for this. I'm used to it being busy or having to log in again and again. Not this time.

Paying OOP this year. Dining plan is too much food. We will share when we can and eat at leaf a meal a day in the room.

July 27-August 3. 1br BWV - Pool/Garden view. - Side note. When I called DVC to get my confirmation number, they let me put in my request for a high floor overlooking Luna Pool. We couldn't be more excited. :hyper:

7/27 - No reservation. Probably eating at the hot dog cart/pizza window/margarita cart :)

7/28 - 8am Crystal Palace - Never done CP for breakfast. Hope to get done in time to get to 7DMT by 9am.

7/29 - 5:30pm Brown Derby - 1st time here. Hear good things.

7/30 - 5:30pm Cape May Cafe - DS loves seafood. :lovestruc

7/31 - 5:05pm Be Our Guest - Had lunch here last year. DD wants West Wing table. Keeping fingers crossed.

8/1 - 8:00am Cape May Cafe - 1st time for this Character Breakfast. Then, off to get in line for Elsa and Anna :bitelip:
5:45pm Via Napoli - Another 1st.

8/2 - 5:00pm 1900 Park Fare - You guessed it, first time.

8/3 - 8:30am Hollywood N Dine - DD is so excited to see Doc McStuffins and Sophia.

This is our 5th Disney trip in 6 years and it's pretty cool that we still have so many new things to do. Also, DD just passed 40" tall. This will mean so many riders that won't have to be child swap any more. Splash Mountain for everyone :dance3:

Stuck in the cold northeast, summer can't come fast enough. 179 days and counting !!!!!

Maybe we will see you at Cape May Cafe for breakfast. We will be there the same day.

Has anyone done the drinking around the world before? I'm a big wine fan and I'd really like to have a glass of wine in each country, I'm just worried about how much it'll take out of me with it being so hot out....

My dad has decided to drop out of the trip for right now, they have a lot going on this summer and just don't think they can add anymore to it :guilty: Personally..... I think they're crazy lol

I obviously haven't before, but I'm assuming it's college party rules. We're splitting drinks between us so it'll be like we had 4 or so drinks each instead of 11, water before Mexico and then in between each drink, and then grabbing a small bit of greasy goodness at every few countries. (I imagine nothing will soak up that beer like a nice starchy German pretzel!)

...Not that I've *ever* drank at college before, I've just head all of my of age friends talk about it....pirate:

Hi, All,

So I joined this group late and then I had to go MIA!

Long story short, my dad was in a very horrific car accident and that took my attention. It also put a question mark over our trip. I then got run down and very sick myself. However, my dad is nothing short of a miracle and is doing pretty well.

Sooooo... we have officially booked for POFQ for June 25 - July 4.

Now I'm behind on ADRs and such, but we eat at off times. Plus, with two of us it isn't quite as hard.

Let the planning begin! :cool1:

So sorry to hear about your dad! Hope he continues to improve daily. Sounds like you really deserve this trip. Happy planning!!

Thanks to both of you. Yes, my dad is improving faster than anyone ever thought. The doctors figured he would be in the hospital for many, many weeks. He ended up being in ICU for just two weeks, and is now at a physical rehab place. He's been walking around. It's crazy. He broke a lot of stuff though, so there is a lot of pain (such as 15 broken ribs!).

I haven't seen him since he was in ICU though because I stayed away while sick. I get to see him soon.

We are so excited to finally have booked. We've been looking forward to this since our last trip, since Fantasyland was only just in the starting phases. I can't wait to see the new area and to get back to POFQ. I know everyone has a favorite resort, and this one fits us perfectly! :)

PL- 10:00 am

It feels so much more real now.

Gotta love it!!!

I left the house a few minutes early today, just before 7am-- there was news of a water main break around the corner from my school. (Which, thankfully, was taken care of by the time I got there.)

I got emails from Disney today-- our travel agent got us all our ADRs. BOG, dessert party, the works.

What lovely news to come home to!!!

Staying offsite, 2 adults 2 teens, 3 days Disney, 3 days waterparks,2 days universal and 2 days at a beach! Scared for fast pass+ and universal!!

For those of you who have traveled in July before...how hot is hot? We have been during Spring Break in April (perfect with one really hot day) and this past Thanksgiving (unseasonably cold-winter coats and all!)...so would love to get everyone's feedback for beating the heat!

It's the trifecta: Hot, Hazy and Humid.

But the parks are open forEVER, and a mid afternoon dip in the pool is the most refreshing thing in the world.

Get there for rope drop, hit all the headliners, and head back to the resort when the parks hit the Point of Diminishing Returns at arounc lunchtime. Head back for dinner and fireworks.

Take twice the amount of clothes you think you'll need! You will be SO sweaty after your mornings in the parks that you'll want a fresh outfit (and fresh underthings ;) ) to put on for the evening :thumbsup2 Unless you feel like doing laundry a few times during your trip.

Hi everyone! I hope it's OK if I double dip! I will be there from June 21-July 5. It's a bit of a crazy trip. From June 21-June 26, it will be just my family of 5. Then from June 26-July 5 there will be 22 of us in all! We've done it before, and I'm really glad that we have the first 5 days with just my family.

I have a trip report from the last time we had such a huge group in my signature, but I have to warn you, I didn't finish it by 2 days. My littlest had open heart surgery right as I was finishing up and life took over and I never got back to it. But it literally is just the last day in the park I didn't get to (and the ride home).

For the most part the 22 don't tour all together all the time. It will likely be 11 together most of the time with the rest joining up for bits and pieces. I have my ADRs all made (copying and pasting from the June group!)

We will be paying out of pocket for meals using our Tables in Wonderland card.

Play morning by ear- if we want to head to a park for a few hours we will, otherwise we will leave earlyish.

We'll be arriving in Orlando June 29th and spending the day at Wizarding World and a night at the Marriott.

And then we'll be staying in the Poly June 30th-July 6th. June 30th is my 21st birthday, and I already have a BOG ADR so I can buy a glass of wine in MK! July 1st I'll be drinking around the world so if you see a group of girls with one wearing 21st birthday gear and partying it up in Epcot say hi! :)

We will be there July 6-10 at POP and 10-13 at CBR. We were at POP in 2011 in July and AOA last August. I am a single mom of 2, a 13 year old girl and a 7 year old boy. We will be traveling to karate nationals in Ft. Lauderdale right before disney. Taking the auto train for the 3rd time. I will have to drive to VA right after school on June 30 so we can get on the train and be at karate by Wed. evening. As soon as we are done on Sat. we will be on our way to our happy place. Never been to CBR so I am excited to surprise my kids. They think we are moving off property for the last 3 nights. I was going to do a 3 day cruise at the end but I chickened out.

After our 4night cruise on the Dream, We will be at the Boardwalk Villas in a 1 br standard view July 3-6th. So excited!

:welcome: to all our new comers!!! So glad to have you all on board. I am sorry I did not do an official welcome earlier, I didn't get any email notifications. My Bad!!! You have all been added to our front page. I will add any ADR's as soon as I can. Please feel at home and give us as much information as you feel comfortable giving us with touring plans and ADR's.

Yes, hot is hot. Now, I hate heat, but I manage to make it. You can find plenty of ways to work with it. Showers, showers, swimming. Making sure to get those sit down meals to rest in a cool place.

Like I said, I despise the heat. So, if I can work with it.... it's doable. Hey, it's Disney after all! :)
