Thanks to all - Midori had a great day today.... used her crutches to get around the house.. Ate 2 good meals and in good spirits.. I made her Duncan Hines - Strawberry Cream Cheese Cupcakes. :thumbsup2 - You have got to go to Walmart and get a box... WOW!! they are super good :stir:

Hey July DISers. Booked a trip to the world from July 13-20. We'll be staying at Pop Century. So excited to be going back!

OK!!! we are going at the same time again this year... We have to meet up this time.. :cool1:

Thanks - Midori did very good. Surgery at 8:15 AM and out at 9:00 AM, into recovery until 12:45 PM. Checked her out, signed paperwork and paid my deductible and took her home.

Midori was acting silly ..... first time for pain medicine. We were laying in bed watching TV and once in a while she would just start laughing for no reason at all and then looked over at me and said why did I start laughing?

I told her it was the medicine. She asked me when she would start feeling pain, told her if we do exactly what we need to do, she would only feel pain when she got up to go to the bathroom and to adjust herself in bed.

WELL - 2:00 AM this morning, the other side of Midori came out. WOW!!!! she was a bear and blamed me for all the pain she was experiencing. Got her to calm down and gave her another pain pill and she went back to sleep.

Making her a cake right now and waiting for her to wake up.

I pray that Midori has a speedy recovery.
I got the CRT & CP ressies. All I got left is RC.

:welcome: to our happy "hottest time of the year" group! So glad to have some newbies and veteran groups with us. Love the mix that we get so we can all help each other with our questions. I myself have never been to WDW in July but I am an experienced August member. I kind of just assume we will endure the same types of weather episodes in July as in August. Happy to have you on board. When you get more information please post them and I will add you to the touring and ADR posts. When I have your exact dates (ddluvsdisney) I will add you to the front page. Thrillridejunkie, I will add you now!

We usually go in August as well, to celebrate our anniversary. :-) This is our first July trip.

I am glad Midori is feeling better. Hopefully each day is better than the previous one.

We would go in August to
A) get the free dining that was offered and
B) to have a nice family time before the rush of school starting.

We don't like to take the kids out of school so summer is mostly it and cheaper. I like to be as frugal as possible while still having a nice vacation. Disney offering the discounts and free dining works for me. I am still hoping for the room only discount....Any one else waiting for the July discounts???

I am! We can't apply it to our bounce back nights, but we added on a room only night at rack rate and would love to apply the discount to that!

We are waiting for a discount too! Hoping to get more discount then AAA. Last year, the room only discount for July came out March 28 for Chase Visa holders and April 2 for everyone. I am hoping something similar happens this year.

We are also hoping for RO discounts for July. Last year we got it on the morning it was released to visa cardholders. Planning to do it te same way when this one comes out!

I got a great deal with a TA for GF for the weekend we're going in July. I added a night to make use of super saver award miles, which is a non-discounted rate right now. Definitely waiting for a RO discount for the extra night!

I was trying to be good and do mainly QS except for character meals, but I went ahead and got a dinner ADR at Le Cellier for our Epcot day... Trying to decide if I really should keep it or not...

Looking outside at the snow and I am wishing we were in Disney!

I have been thinking about making one more ADR for BF before we head back to here. :( It's a toss up between Ohana's and Chef Mickey.

My MIL bought me a early birthday present. A CRICUT. I am uber excited about it. She called this morning to tell me it has been SHIPPED. Now I will have something else to do while the time slowly passes.:lmao:

We have 94 days until DH comes home. :cheer2:

Bring on February.....after all it's a short month!

I'm glad Midori is doing well! Personally, I think that cupcakes can solve all the worlds problems, I LOVE cupcakes!

I just got off the phone with the Disney people, they are so nice! Talked to a man named Zach who was extremely helpful, and I told him that we were celebrating Dacey's graduation as well as Dylan's birthday while we were there. He said that "Mickey" would be delivering surprises to our room for them! I thought it was incredibly nice that he did that for us!
