I started a new job a month ago and have been so busy but I think it's settled now!

I made all my adrs and I'm SO happy! I managed to get TWO dinner reservations during our trip for BE OUR GUEST! It definitely pays to get up at 5am! lol

We are doing a surprise trip also! It will be our girls' Christmas present this year. This Christmas is going to rock!

I am going to try my best to wait till the morning we leave to tell them, but I hope I am not too weak!! It is my birthday the day we leave and my present to myself is watching that surprise My oldest DS will turn 10 during the trip. Who could ask for a better Christmas present than that, your girls will be so over the moon!!!!! And you too for getting to see that on Christmas!!!!

I have read discussions of using the "old" wdw site vs using the "new" site for booking ADRs; I'm confused! Our last trip was Nov 2012, so the last time I made ADRs was May 2012. How has the process/website changed since then and is there anything I need to be prepared for to make ADRs on Monday at 6 am? Any help is appreciated!

First time visitor so the new site is all I know. I got every ADR I wanted, easily used the new site to do 180+10. I was online right at 6am EST, even had multiple time choices for BOG. Good luck! I hope your ADRs go just as smooth.

FYI any Southwest Airlines bookers, we booked for our late Jan flights the first day they were available and have been rechecking every day since, prices now are the lowest I have seen. Free rebooking. I rebooked all of our flights yesterday paid for on points and now have 17,000 points back Just a reminder to check

Price are still too expensive compared to what we usually pay for our yearly January flights to MCO.

It seems the past 4 years we booked our late January flights in October. Looks backing it was the 2nd or 3rd week. I stalk the Southwest website daily. So that would have been when I found the best pricing..As well Their sales usually begin on a Tuesday. Always a great day to check.

2013 -$89 per person per way direct
2012 -$72 per person per way-direct
2011 -84 per person per way - direct
2010-$68 per person per way- direct

We're booked at CR for 4 right now, me, DMIL, DS & DD. DH still hasn't decided whether he's coming to Disney or not. He's definitely coming for the week at the beach house in Tampa afterwards. So I'm making my ADRs on the 26th regardless. My plan is right now to make most of them for 5 and CRT for 4. The morning we go to CRT (if he comes) he'll stay at the resort and rent a boat to scoot around the bay and meet up with us afterwards. So here's my ADR plan for that situation.

Jan. 22 - arrival late no meals needed
Jan. 23 - CRT breakfast, CS lunch & dinner
Jan. 24 - snack breakfast, CS lunch & CM dinner
Jan. 25 - Kona breakfast check out and head to Tampa

We're on the dining plan so the extra 2 credits we'll have from him not going to CRT we'll use towards Kona and pay the 1 adult and 2 kids OOP.

Can not get the new site to add the +10 days from the 180 when I use a date that is 180 dates out and TRY to pseudo book an ADR as a trial. I can do this on the old site - at times. Someone suggested that it might be because the new site "knows" my real dates since we are booked and is preventing an trial runs with the +10, so is the new site "smarter" than the old site? Sounds sorta odd to me whereas folks have been having lost of problems with the new site. Does that even make sense to anyone??

It does know your dates. We are going for 6 days so at 180 out from our first day of vacation I had availability for every day of our stay, but no more. If your reservation isn't linked through the site I would guess there would be no +10

I have a reservation and couldn't book my +10 days on either the old or new site or through the app. I had to call in. It wasn't a problem but getting up at 5am to go online for no reason didn't make me happy!
