Jan 2012 we were there...my boys were so excited to go on SM. They waited in line and when they finally got on the ride they sat for 30 more min and then was told the ride was broke and they had to get off. I don't know who had the bigger frown...my husband or my son

lol I would have had the biggest frown too!!! Did they get to ride it later?

We find late January weather perfect.
I remember the one year we got off the plane and some Orlando folks were wearing gloves and ear muffs....us Canadian Folks strolled off the plain in shorts and flip flops .

I've been that 'crazy Canadian' many times. I went to Southern California about 4 times and always in February. It would be around -30 C here in Manitoba and about +15 in Cali. So it felt NICE! I was in a tank top while everyone else was wearing puffy winter jackets. I got many funny looks!

We will be taking a short trip January 2014 as well! We were at WDW for 9 glorious days in December '12 and hadn't planned on returning until October '14 but I really don't want to make DD3 wait until her 5th birtdhay... She has been talking about Disney World since we got back 5 months ago! LOL!!!

I don't have a set day right now but I'm thinking 4 days.... just Magic Kingdom, probably 1 evening at Epcot staying at Wilderness Lodge. I will post back once I have everything booked

No there isn't one that I've found. I belong to an amazing group that was for October but we renamed it "See Ya Real Soon" so we can talk about Disney all the time. Always someone on our group going on a trip and sharing pictures or countdowns. (It's a secret group so you'd have to PM me your fb email address and I can add you if you'd like! Seriously it's an amazing fun group)

I can't see why not. I would assume that Disney is one of those companies that operate during holidays too. Online definitely but I'm sure there would still be people answering the phones that day too.

To funny, I specifically signed into the dis boards to post on this board to ask where the facebook page was cause I couldn't find it. I have now sent a request to join. We plan on going at the end of January, not set on the dates yet so will post that information when we decide for sure.
