~~**The Official January 2014 Group**~~

United changed my flights again - this time my return flight is going to be 2 hours later.

I guess I will just have to remain at WDW for an extra 2 hours that day. *heavy sigh* :rotfl2:

Planning on going MLK week. Have the first part of stay booked in an AOA Nemo suite. Now debating between Poly and CR. Would like Poly, but worried that view of the fireworks from the beach may be blocked a bit because of construction. Right now leaning towards a CR TPV room, just not sure if it's worth the $$$ just to watch the fireworks from the room. however, it's only 50 more/night for that compared to Lake view, but it is 150 more than garden tower room (and 100 more than Poly standard). Too many options, and I can't make up my mind.

Wow, Songcat! I just checked my United flights and they're much changed also. Thanks for the warning.

Regards, Brenda

Hello! We're in the "hurry up and wait" phase of our trip planning. Our travel group will be me, DH, DS15, DD6, DS4, and DFIL and DMIL. Our full trip dates are 12/31-1/13, with the first 2 nights at a SeaWorld hotel (Fairfield Inn and Suites), then a night at Old Key West, and then 1/3-1/13 in a 2-bedroom villa with rented points at BWV.

Our rooms are booked, plane tickets bought, SeaWorld tickets bought, park days roughly planned out (which parks on which days), and ADRs made. Next up is buying WDW tickets from UT and adding the DDP to our BWV reservation, and hopefully making FP+ reservations at some point (though I'm not holding my breath).

If I buy my park tickets from UT, does that impact my ability to add it to the "My Disney Experience" or my chances of getting FP+ ahead of time (assuming its not rolled to everyone by Jan)

We are going backand forth onthistoo! We want a monorail hotel but gf seems too stuffy for us. Originally wanted poly but the construction scares me. We are booked at blt now, might change when discounts are released

No. You can link tickets bought at UT to MDE, and you can use them to schedule FP+ (once that's available).

Any word on when we will be able to start scheduling FP+? From what I read I thought that could happen at 60 days out once the system is officially running.

What about the Princess meet and greet being open for our January trips?

I don't think that the 60 days rule applies during the testing. It is being gradually rolled out, and people are gradually being allowed to book FP+. The earliest that you would be able to book FP+ is 60 days out, but you might not be able to book until closer to the trip.

The Princess M&G already has a scheduled opening date - in I think about a week from now. It will definitely be open by January.

SOOO excited!!! My crew will be doing DW January 2-9th staying at POR (2nd year in a row for this time and place)

We'll be celebrating DD's 9th bday!!!

We'll be surprising the kiddos (DS 12, DS 12, DD 8) on Christmas... now to figure out how to top last years trip reveal! EEEK!

We just pushed our trip from October to January due to DH starting a new job this past week. Woohoo for new job, bummed to push our trip back. This is our first time going in January. We are from Buffalo so hoping the weather will still be warm, at least during the day. It will be myself, DH, my mom, DD4, and DD who will turn 7 months when we are there. It will be her first time in Disney. We are staying at Boardwalk Villas from 1/25 - 2/1. Can't wait. Everything is booked now we are just waiting.

You're welcome! I'm thinking that we should probably keep checking all the way up to January, at this rate. :)

What/where exactly is this princess M&G?

And by what time do you guys think we'll know whether or not FP+ will still be in the testing phase come January? :confused3

2 - And by what time do you guys think we'll know whether or not FP+ will still be in the testing phase come January? :confused3

1 - It's in the old Snow White ride. The princesses are moving there from Town Square (and it looks like in the near future the Fairies will move from Adventureland to Town Square).

2 - No one knows. But the rumor is that by January it will be completely rolled out to everyone (i.e. no more "testing").

Well the current fall offer ends booking availability TODAY!

So I assume that in the next few days the offer will come out for Disney Visa holders and by the first week of October it should be a public deal.
