**The Official January 2012 WDW Thread**

We're headed out in less than 24 hours. I still have to finish half a day at work and go home a finish packing a few things and get my bunny ready to go to the sitters. I feel like I have so much to do, but really I already have quite a bit done.

Last night I made envelopes for my restaurant tips and DH went and got small bills for me this morning so I can get those ready for tonight.

In about 24 hours I'll be in Orlando! I can't believe it.

All packed for the most part. There's a thread in the main forum about the crazy January weather, but it's looking like mid 70s as a high for next week. Sounds good to me. Packed a hoodie and gloves, just in case, for the evenings.

I can't believe we'll actually be at Disney on Sunday! It seems we've been planning for months and now it's finally here!

My son is 2 (will have his 3rd bday while there) so we've been looking at pictures, talking about Disney, etc... just so he has a better idea of where we'll be. He doesn't know we're going, though, and today he said "I wish we could go to Disney World. I'd like a Mickey bar." I wanted to tell him so bad but he would just wonder why we weren't going NOW and would drive me crazy until we got there.

I think we've looked at enough pictures that he'll know where we are when we get there. I can't wait! I spent a lot of time at Disney as a child and I'm so excited to start new memories with my little guy.

I haven't packed, but I've gathered. I have a few things left to buy tomorrow, packing on Friday, driving part of the way to the in laws on Saturday, then Sunday we'll be in the Magic Kingdom! I cannot wait.

We'll be at the MK on Sunday too, got to get in the last minute ride on Dumbo and BTMRR. I'll be the one on the scooter with the big ole boot on my foot, stop and say hi if you see me.

Awe Snap....We are leaving Saturday morning for our 9 day Grand Gathering...I'm so excited I can hardly stand it!!!

The Accuweather 15 day forecast is driving me insane. I realize it's totally unreliable, but I can't help but check it!! Every day it changes - first we were going to see 70's, then some days with highs in the 50's and lows in the 30's, now we're back in the mid-60's....how can a person be expected to pack in advance with all these inconsistencies?!?!

9 days!!!! I can't believe it!!

ETA: I went through my "Disney" backpack this past weekend (it doubles as my letterboxing/geocaching bag when we are not in Disney and we are camping ) and I was pleasantly surprised to find my lime green mickey paint swatch from Home Depot!! I plan to sport it in the mesh section of my bag while we are there. So keep a look out DIS'ers!!!

We're here...it's been a long travel day...I have lots to put in our TR when we get home and it's not good. Bed Bugs at WBC!! We are in a clear room now but what a hassle!! And GROSS!!! We missed our ADR at Raglan Rd...so we ate in the room and we are going to bed...exhausted!! Traveling is soooo tiring....BUT...tomorrow we are eating breakfast at O'hana and then we'll be spending the day at MK!!!! YAY!!!!

We missed our ADR at Raglan Rd...so we ate in the room and we are going to bed...exhausted!! Traveling is soooo tiring....BUT...tomorrow we are eating breakfast at O'hana and then we'll be spending the day at MK!!!! YAY!!!!

We leave 1 week from tomorrow (8 days), even though my ticker doesn't say that, and I hope it doesn't drag like this past week did. Hoping that since I still have a lot of things to do, my kids go back to school on Monday, and I am working until Wednesday night, it will fly by.

To those who are leaving before us, have a wonderful and safe trip....from what I hear coming out of my DMIL's mouth yesterday (they have been in Florida since the day after Christmas and are currently in the Tampa Area) the cold snap is over and it is suppose to warm up nicely in the next day or so

Our flight gets in around 6pm so we won't be getting there til late. I imagine we will grab food and relax in our room for the night.

Our plane arrives at 6:30..........and we will be doing plenty of walking around OKW and taking the boat and bus, so who knows.
We are going to DtD for dinner.............first time to try out T-Rex

going to spend the day cleaning house and packing a few last minute things.
Get all the electronics charged and ready.
Come on tomorrow!! (Plus I haven't seen BFF since Sept, so that alone is exciting!!)

My DD6 woke up today and said we should pretend it is "train day" (since we take the Autotrain down to WDW) and pretend to kick all the doors to open them up, since we'll be doing exactly this in TWO WEEKS!!!!

We have 6 more days!!! I got so much done yesterday. I pretty much finished DS & my packing. Will just throw in a couple things as laundry is done. And I also packed most of my carry on bag. And then I'm going to spend the weekend getting the house completely clean, so hopefully the next 6 days will go by quickly.

I think I've given up on checking weather to help with my packing. We've got rain and thunderstorms one day. High of 75 one day and the next day it drops to 58. It's just crazyiness, so I'm overpacking and will be prepared for a little of everything
