Just found this thread...AWESOME!!

We're booked at Fort Wilderness for January 21-27. I have my ressies for that made, the camper taken care of...I have a Countdown App on my droid and know that I need to make ADRs for the 2 character breakfasts we want to do on 7/25/11. Now what?

Where do you find the park hours and stuff like that? LOL I'm such a newbie aren't I?

We are going January 21st-28th with my BFF of 28 years and her family. She is a DVC member and we're staying at SSRTV's. I'm so excited! My family is DH 40 me 39 and DS 4. My 2year old is staying home with Grammie. We will be celebrating DS's birthday. He is so excited I have to answer questions everyday about when we are going. I guess I shouldn't have told him yet! I have been to WDW in over 15 years and I've already started planning what I can. So yes, I'm psycho but I'm excited!!!!

I'm very excited! I just called MS and got our first choice in rooms for our trip in January! We switched from OKW to BCV, our first time staying there.

Just wanted to share with others that will understand! The only one around is my 18 month old son and he's mesmerized by Mickey Mouse clubhouse right now.

Now I just have to wait another 34 days to make our few ADR's and we'll be set!

We got our tickets too! Wasn't expecting to have a big chunk of money coming out of our Disney savings fund until August but it saved us some money and I'm all about that!

OKW 12/30-1/6. I know traditionally crowds tend to fall off after 1/1; but alot of schools around us don't start again till 1/9. I suppose its likely some schools will start again on 1/2. Should we still expect large crowds in the parks 1/2-1/5?

it's hard to say...traditionally I would think you'll still have some leftover crowds still lingering in comparrsion to later in the month...but I would check the crowd predictions on touring plans...to help plan out your days

Please add me (and my family) to the list...we are actually doing a 2 part trip (hence my PTR: 2 Castles to Send out 2011 and bring in 2012...Celebrating the 12 days of Christmas). We will arrive at WDW on December 30 and be staying at the BWV until January 6 (prior to that we will be at USO RPR from Dec. 25-Dec.30).


Can't wait to go back and read all the posts!

Edit: Booked two days at POP beginning 1/6/12 and then will transfer over to the Villas at Wilderness Lodge on 1/8/12 - 1/15/12.

This will be our second trip but our first time staying onsite. We will be doing Tusker House again for breakfast and I am going to try to get CRT for breakfast one day. I'd also love for DD to do the Wonderland Tea Party. I think she'd get a big kick out of it.

This time around I want definitely want to spend more time at Epcot and AK. The kids loved those parks and we didn't have nearly enough time there last September.

We just booked BWV for Jan 17th - 23rd!!! 22 family members and 6 rooms!! It is the first trip for 3 of the kids, I love to be able to be there and see that look on their faces when they see things for the first time! Please add us to your list!

Ok, we are newbies as far as January goes only, Ineed to know what to expect. We normally go the week before or wht week of Christmas, but DH got a new job last Dec and won't get his vaction until January 2012 and he wouldn't be able to take off the week we originally wanted to go anyway due to those with senority.

We are planning on January 7 thru 14. What can we expect? We want to do the Deluxe DDP, unless the crowds are still pretty high. We are celebrating our 10th Anniversary (which is actually Dec 8th). But, between DH's job and Military Duty, we are going to wait to celebrate. We plan to stay at Pop, as usual.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
