Exactly 4 weeks from today for us!!! We're getting so close.

I finally finished all of my Christmas stuff, just have to wait 6 more days until we fly to my parents, so I've turned my attention to Disney. I put together our packing and shopping list. And my DS and I got new sneakers, so now we're trying to break those in. Time is flying and I can't believe how close we're all getting!!!

I wonder if it has something to do with the Fantasyland project being finished up this year. Maybe something to do with a the new marketing campaign.

I am visiting Jan 28th - Feb 3rd by myself and would enjoy some company for my ADR's.

Here are the meals I have planned-

Jan 30th - Afternoon Tea at the Grand Floridian 2:10 PM

Jan 31st -Yatchsman Steakhouse at Disney's Yatch Club 7:15 PM

Feb 1st - Citrico's at Grand Floridian 5:45 PM

I truly cannot believe that we are a few days away from being a month out. Like okw19 said, the best thing about going in January is how quickly time flies since you're super focused on Christmas, plus it is probably the most excellent way to combat post-Christmas blues!

I must be the only one not in Disney mode yet..we leave Jan 21 so I still have plenty of time. But I am focused on Christmas for the next 2 weeks and then I will get into Disney mode!

I wonder if it has something to do with the Fantasyland project being finished up this year. Maybe something to do with a the new marketing campaign.

There's been a lot of speculation but there are a couple of possibilities that I think are more probable than others. I do think it'll be a new marketing campaign, not something related to the expansion projects, because while all us fans are nuts for the expansion info that doesn't seem like it'll have the broad appeal to warrant the hype of a big announcement on ABC's NYE countdown show.

Whatever it is, I'm sure I'll read about it about 30sec after it happens because DH & I usually stay in on NYE. I'll just have to be DISing from DD's iPod while we play board games and watch the Twilight Zone marathon.

Oh crap, you miss one day on here and miss everything! What is this about??

ETA: I should have looked at this page before I went back to catch up. Sure hope it's something good and very surprising to all of us Disney fans.

We leave 3 weeks from today. I only have 11 more work days, which is even better. I am so excited. I am just about to have our plans all squared away.

Last night we got some special maaaiiil!

I actually posted in my PTR about it, with photo documentation of my husband's reaction to my screams of joy when I saw Mickey's face on the envelope.

Glad we are all set with luggage tags! They only gave us 2, which is kind of a bummer since we thought about bringing 3 bags along, but we're thinking 2 large bags and a roll on should be PLENTY for our trip, so no big deal!

It's funny how getting the piece of mail can make your trip seem so much more real than it has before! Like that it somehow made it "official"!

I felt the same way!!! I had a vomiting child all night at the beginning of the week, but when I saw Mickey's face in the mail that day, it made everything better. I didnt even expect to get it so early. It's the magic of Disney!

Looking at both of your tickers, I would expect that your Mickey Mail would be arriving REALLY soon! I was shocked we got ours so early; I could've sworn for our honeymoon we didn't get ours until a few weeks before our trip. I actually had a bad feeling we wouldn't end up getting ours at all, but I was most definitely wrong.

Fingers crossed you guys get your coveted Mickey Mail really soon!

But great to come home to it. I put BFF's tag right into the mail for her.

We hit the 25 day mark today for when we leave...but more exciting than that in exactly ONE MONTH from now, I'll be a Cast Member!

We don't get any Mickey Mail anymore, now that we are staying offsite. Sad sort of..but this time it helps us keep the surprise from our DD's.
