I met him at EPCOT!! He is soooo cute and sweet and so friendly!

How very cool! I was upset I missed his taping for the holiday show. I hope he comes back for the AI Experience opening at DHS.

He was walking around EPCOT with a VIP Guide, one of the guys from his band, and an older blonde woman. My daughter spotted him while waiting for me to come from our resort. She followed as he went on several rides -- Spaceship Earth and The Seas With Nemo and Friends. When I caught up with my stalker daughter, he was eating in Mexico. After they were done, I couldn't resist calling his name and telling him what a huge fan I was. He told me that he loved my shirt, Cancer Sucks, and we talked about how old it must be to hear fans say they voted for him every single time, but he said it was wonderful to hear and he could hear it every day. He was soooo sweet and friendly.

I'm hearing conflicting reports as to whether David will be in town for the opening of AIE on 2/14. Does anyone know for sure if he'll be there?

If he is, I don't know if I could convince my DH that seeing DC is the best way to spend Valentine's day. He is convinced I'd leave him in a minute for David Cook.

I just read that he will be kicking off the AI opening and then starting his Declaration tour in Tallahassee on 2/13. They havent' released the rest of the tour dates yet, but it is supposed to be this week. If anyone finds them before I do, please post!!!!!

puffkin, doesn't the AIE open on 2/14? How is he supposed to open AIE before that (if I'm reading your post correctly, he's supposed to be at AIE prior to the start of his tour on 2/13)?

Billboard’s the Jaded Insider caught up with David Cook at his outdoor mini-concert for Jimmy Kimmel Live on Tuesday night. David spilled a few details about his upcoming college tour:

But we’ve got some good news for fans aching for their own live dose of Cook: He’s heading out on a college tour starting Feb. 13. Following a performance to open the American Idol Experience at Walt Disney World Resort in Orlando on Feb. 12, Cook will hit the road for a month’s worth of dates, starting in Tallahassee, Fla.. The full tour routing should be announced this week, Cook told us after the show.

About the upcoming tour:

We’re gonna do a kind of grassroots thing and hit a lot of colleges. Because I remember going to shows in my college life and feeling like there’s such a cool energy that you don’t find in a regular venue. Like in the ’70s, all these amazing bands were playing college circuits, and I want to get back to that. It’s what I’m really stoked about — not only do I get to go out with four cool guys and have fun, but I get to do what I want to do.

Before David and his band head out to colleges across the USA, they will be traveling to Kuwait for a 2 week USO tour, beginning January 19.

I was at both AC shows, as well as the Pemberton (Burlington County College) show. All I can say is wow. David definately puts on a good show. He's adding dates to his tour, so if he comes to your area, definately go see him.

Unfortunately, I have a lousy camera, so all of my pictures turned out blurry. One of these days, I need to buy a better camera.
